*EDIT* Fixed some stuff like Tails' pants (they were un-shaded), Sonic's hand (6 fingers problem) and Knuxie's right foor (it looked flat).Contest Entry for Halloween Contest!
That's right! Halloween! A pretty funny time where almost everyone dress up of anything!
I wanted to be a little creative, instead of the usual Halloween theme that most people uses (darkness, shaddy stuff, scary stuff and similar things... Spiders and pumpkins) I decided to draw my characters already in the party!
Party? When did you said this was a party? Most people actually do Halloween themed parties! And that's just awesome.
So! What are the costumes of our heroes? You may recognize all of them but I want to point them anyway.
Sonic as... A freaking Knight! (Teaser for Sonic The Knight!)
Customized by myself, this armor is pretty similar to Excalibur Sonic's. I want to note before everyone complains, I colored the sword differently because its of PLASTIC.
Tails as... Pokemon Trainer Red! I just love this guy! Pkmn Trainer Red is famous for his super powerful teamlocated in the core of Mt. Silver. But his most iconic feature are both his unique clothing and super strong Pikachu.
Knuckles as... Black Mage from the Final Fantasy series! I wanted Knuxie as a mage and I found Merlin's design (from Disney's The Sword on the Stone.) pretty much lame. So this awesome character was the best option I could choice!

Honestly, I didn't wanted to. Because Excalibur Sonic is a super transformation which is used only once AND you need Legendary Swords, so I thought Sonic could made a tribute to his transformation by dressing as a knight xD

Looking at the picture again, Tails reminds me more of Ash, even though he has Red's outfit. Tails just doesn't look dark and threatening enough. On the other hand, he has an expression I'd expect to see on Ash. Or Red from the manga. Just not the games.
(Now that I think about it, the manga version of Red is way more powerful than the game version. He's also just straight better in my opinion. The main reason is that he actually knows how to talk!)

Yeah. In the manga, Red has spiky hair a bit like Ash's (but way more messy). It's based very closly on the Red and Blue games, complete with a jerk rival. Plus an epic final battle in the finals of the Pokemon League! You really should read it, because unlike the games (and sort of the anime), characters actually have personality. And the manga is more realistic: violence, deaths, hints of romance (more than hints if you see the Ruby/Sapphire chapter on the internet). It's a lot more interesting, especially since it goes all the way from Red/Blue/Green to Diamond/Pearl/Platinum!

You should! Really! All the characters have MUCH more personality, plus there are a couple new characters added that never appear in any game, anime, or other comic series! (It's called Pokemon Adventures, and you can read it for free online!)

When Pokemon was released in the US, I never really had any intrest or curisioty in it. I also had some friends at the time who were convinced it was evil and "of the devil". The mother of one of them wouldn't even let her son watch a webpage of "Dancing Pikachu", which was just little animated GIFs of Pikachu blancing on a ball or swaying back and forth. My own mom made me watch Pikachu's Vacation and make up my own mind. I thought it was cute and that my friends and their parents were just being silly if they honestly believed it was intentionaly evil. I would watch the cartoon now and then and the only thing in them that seemed the least bit contraversal was the aparent sport fighting but nothing "evil". Compared to actual animal fighting, pokemon fighting actualy seemed more like the "play fight" behavior of young animals and it never seemed as if the pokemon were forced to fight if they didn't want too.

Wow, really? NOw that's... weird and unusual. Pokemon can be lots of things but never evil, talk about really possesive parents. The series are getting a little shitty but they are still enjoyable
