CHECK OUT THE SPEEDPAINT! [link]Inspired by ~EVMousser 's awesome Mecha Sonic pic [link] I decided to draw Knuckles the same way! This is my contest entry for TheSonicShow over Youtube, they also asked for transparent backgrounds so... yeah. Lame! Wish me luck guys!
For the armor... I really like how it came, I may try to upgrade it in a Mark II or something. What I like the most are the shoes, veeeeeery sexy ones xD

Indeed it is. I just don't have to touch the background, once finished I turn the file into a .psd one and then just open Photoshop, open the file and just save as a .png xD

Definitely much easier. xD With Gimp, you have to add a second layer- an alpha channel is what it's called- then select the background, hit cut, and save it. That's how I get my transparent backgrounds- and the only use I've found for Gimp at the moment.
