I used to love MLAATR back when I was a kid. I re-watched it 2 years ago and it was still awesome. Today I felt like drawing Jenny, but in my way. I spent the day redesigning her to look a little bit more realistic and functional.Also, it's impressive how a single weekend of anatomy study makes such a difference later! I think that if I hadn't studied last week, I wouldn't be able to draw this as well as I did.
So here's a tip for y'all: Take the weekends to study. Another thing that helps a lot is taking art from artists you really like and tracing them in order to figure out their process and after that copying the same drawing with what you learned.ย
Believe me, it helps a lot!
Anyway, I am thinking about doing an illustration of Jenny later and doing an animation out of it in After Effects. I really enjoyed doing it with Lilac, and I have good ideas for XJ-9

This is a really good modern redesign of Jenny that enhances the basics with a lot of modern lines and shapes from modern robotics - I hope that you're able to utilize it in future works - it would be great to see where you can take this! Great work!

Hey this really inspire me to draw my own version of Jenny and I like how you draw the skirt very similar to the Zakus from Gundam. Do you mind if I borrow that same design for the skirt? Of course Iยดll give you credit.
