this is just amazing. I love the composition. I dont usually comment on things that everyone has because it seems redundant to say the same things but this is just wonderful.

I love the frost and the mistyness of this shot.. And the angle of course is what makes it great - it looks like the world is on a slant and the only thing that knows how to grow straight is that one little tree.. Nice work.

When I first saw this, I thought "How neat!" Then actually turned my head to see its surroundings. A very nice, out-of-the-box picture! ^_^

Great shot Denis. The snow, the fog, the reflections, the altered view all really work well together. Here's to individualism and "going against the grain."

Its very striking! Almost humurous in the way it distorts perspective. Very unexpected and unnatural in such an environment untouched by man. Isnt it beautiful how things like this oocur naturally?

At first glance this only showed the dark tree. The longer I looked, the more it came into focus and then I truly saw it for what it was. I got a sense of vertigo from it, a feeling that I was falling with the tree, even though I was standing still. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Is this a real photo? Or a manipulated one?

I can honestly say that this is the best photo I've ever seen. The way the tress reflect off the ice with those twigs in the foreground, its actually sending shivers down my spine.
My only gripe (a very minor one at that) is that the tree seems the slightest bit out of focus.
I'm still just so amazed at the composition of the shot, EXCELLENT job on it.

Thank you a lot, Matt, too kind words...
About out of focus, I think the problem is the low quality of the version in the gallery (jpg artifacts)... in my opinion the print version are not affected by out of focus problems.
Thank you a lot again, really!

no problem, and I'll probably get a print, just because its such a great shot, and I'd love to see the full resolution.

Who's bent?
The tree?
The rest of them?
You?
Me?
When I looked at this photo I had to do it
twice, then it made me feel some strange
feelings, so as I always think... that's real
art! I like it a lot. Good work
