Ahaha I love this. I wish the majority of my bones weren't so old and damaged I could do something with 'em.

I've always wanted to do stuff like this! I tried to rebuild a Raccoon skeleton when I was younger!

it's hard at first, but gets easier the more you do. the hardest part is getting a position so that it looks like it's kind of a way it would stand if it was alive. of course it's easier for that with these because they're fantastical animals, not real ones.

My problem was trying to reconstruct a spinal-collum! I couldn't figure it out! But, I might try again someday! hunt an it's easy to get bones if I want them! I've seen a few things like this for sale at Flee Markets!

yeah for a spine you need all vertebrae, and they will fit together like puzzle pieces.

True! I was also using hot glue and it didn't stick for crap!

yeah, a dot of hot glue will hold something while other glue sets. then pull it off afterward. I use liquid fusion lately, it's a great siliconebased glue, really freakin holds it. takes over a day to dry though. and you still need very strong bones.

I might try that stuff if I ever give it another shot someday! I always wanted to make something that'd look like something out of mythology like... well you can find it online where some scientist or art made a Centaur skeleton out of a zebra and real human bones!

you could probably even do something like that on a smaller scale, but using like a plaster or resin repro miniature human skull and ribs, or something, with another small animal...hmmm

I guess I could find skeleton models! I did have a rat skull as a kid a glued to a dinosaur skeliton toy I bought that had no head!
