I'm doing fanart. Heavens.This is here mostly because Weaver doesn't get enough love from the fandom.

and yeah weaver had a blue and white costume with less spikes and such so she looked less scary more marketable

That's what I thought, but I was having the worst time trying to find a description. Eventually gave up and made it blue-on-blue.

If I recall correctly, Weaver's costume is basically the same as Skitter's (on purpose).

Skitter had a black bodysuit and dark gray armor, I believe.
I swear I remember something about Weaver's costume being blue and white though.

Color changes still count as "basically the same" in my book, especially when you are drawing a grayscale piece of artwork.
Big thing is the lack of a mask.
