Here is Ellen, My third Siren to undergo the Genesis conversion.She was definitely eager to joint Adrea and her good friend Lynette (they both soon will be in the next Barefoot Archaeologist).

By the proportion of her body she seemed like a pre-teenager! But her feet are the matter in here!

Wasn't really familiar with Ellen so went back and looked at some of the older renders. She seems to be a character that's changed a bit in the V4s, so not quite as solidly designed as Lynette or Adrea - that allows for more flexibility in reworking her. So face-wise, I like the look of her (though I did chuckle at the goofy sort of expression she's got here). Hair wise... ehhh... I think that needs work as it seems a bit unnatural. Now... hard to tell for certain with the pose and perspective, but her head actually looks a bit large for her body. Feet-wise, the genesis 2 feet certainly do look good. She has what look like really cute little feet, and I like this take on the better than the original pictures what had a very slender sort of foot.

Thanks for the feedback. All my V4 girls I think are pretty hard to beat and I always am considering just Dropping the G2 thing and say with V4. We'll see.

It would certainly be a tough choice. Face/hair-wise, I think the V4s have a bit of an edge, even if it's just from years of tweaking to get it -just- right. Body-wise, the Genesis 2's seem to have a bit nicer, smoother form to them. Feet-wise (and to folks like me, the most important part) the Genesis 2 models are far and away superior in quality. Pose-wise, the V4s seem to have a much greater and more natural range of poses. So there are some real strong pros and cons.
I think time will help too though - the Genesis 2 stuff is new, and as you get more familiar with it, the poses, the faces, and the overall quality will improve. A fair comparison isn't really comparing the Genesis 2 to the latest V4s - compare it instead to your first few months of renders with the V4s however many years ago.
