Description

I am massively reworking Visions! I am working on trait sheets in the future, but for now have this introduction to the species!
Visions are a species of shapeshifting realm hoppers, who also have a bizarre connection to technology!
Visions are native to and populate the Dawn Realm, a realm that's found itself home to the ruins of a society wrecked by a great Calamity. Visions are very curious at heart, leading many to be explorers, either of their own realm or of others. This wanderlust that seems almost hard coded into them has led to many visions creating settlements in different realms. Visions are also very hardy, they seem to thrive no matter what the different realms throw at them!
Visions are all born with antenna, a second head (though some are born with them fused to their first head, and Prototypes lack them entirely), a unique blood color, and a magical core.
Second Heads are, usually, able to be taken off and put back on at will. They are shaped and can even act like electronics, usually of a screened variety. They also store a special cache of magic inside of them, allowing for the vision's special connection to them, and for them to control them as if they were always connected to them. Second Heads will grow along side their vision, always perfectly and comfortably able to fit onto them, and are extremely sturdy. They very rarely crack, let alone break. Hell, in the right conditions they may even be able to survive an explosion! However, if a vision were to lose or break their second head irreparably, it would greatly damage them mentally and magically. The magic stored in the head would be lost forever, and the trauma would follow them until the end of their lives.
Visions are very magical creatures. They possess Magical Cores that are the, well, core of a vision's magic being, holding and generating all of their magic, and allowing them to shapeshift and hop between realms, along with reproduce. The core resides inside the chest, acting as a pseudo heart and pumping magic through a vision. Visions are taught from very young ages to never weaponize their magic unless necessary, as it could harm them or their cores for life. When using magic, Visions will gain a blue and yellow hue, along with a glow.
Visions reproduce via magic. The parents will gather up magic, calling it forth from their cores, and then merge the collected magic into one being, and send it off. The stored magic will be sent to Soul Mountain, inside the Tree of Life and to the Heart Pond. Visions in different realms, along with Prototypes, have made their own settlements where babies may be made. However, it takes a great mage, along with a priest of the Goddess to bless the place with good energies and well wishes.
Visions typically cannot hybridize with other species, due to their magic being near incompatible with other species to create children, along with lacking reproductive organs. Even if they did manage to have children, they would likely lack the needed magic for many things, such as controlling their second heads, shapeshifting, and realm hopping.
There are four types of Visions: Classic, Aquatic, Airborne, and Prototype!
Classics are your typical Vision, they usually have shorter fur and claws, and are usually 5-to-6 feet tall. They are the most commonly seen of them all, and can be found absolutely everywhere, if you look hard enough.
Aquatics are able to breath underwater, they can often be found with smooth skin, sharp teeth, fins, glowing markings, and are usually 6-to-8 feet and built bigger and stronger. In the Dawn Realm, they can often be found in the Marine Kingdom.
Airbornes are winged, they often can be found covered in a mix of dinosaur-like feathers and fur, and are usually 3-to-5 feet tall and built smaller and thinner. In the Dawn Realm, they can often be found in the Vure Tribe, and rarely elsewhere.
Prototypes are an older type, born long before the modern types. Prototypes are owned by attackoncats and will have their own information sheet.

All Common Visions are free! However I think slots for Airbornes or Aquatics I might make them 70 cents, aka 70 points? Not finalized though!

Oh don't worry!! I love answering questions honestly!
I'm planning to not actually have any unlimited slots besides events like this, and instead I'll be having individual traits! I'm currently working on the trait shop to be able to buy traits, either for an upgrade or for an upcoming design! I'll be making the shop once all the art for the upgrades is done, which should be soon!
