The title describes it nicely.
I like how the slope aims downwards, thus reflecting the atmosphere/mood even more by suggesting the fact that we, ourselves, are falling down on a negative slope kind of thing... it's like we're rolling down the hill with no choice, no support or anything like that.
The black and white contrast emphasises the atmosphere to profound effect, especially in the portrayal of the mood. I like the way you've placed the trees to the side, thus providing more balance, even though the land is sloping...
It's quite sad, this... desolate, too, and very miserable, but still an awesome piece.
