A present for my brother's 21st.Fully handcrafted from polar fleece (for extra snuggability), felt, with custom foam inserts and embroidered details.

Well luckily
This took me about two weeks on an off around work and my (puny) social life. Materials weren't too horrendous, but there was a lot of time involved with all the detail work, and the custom-shaped high density foam wasn't cheap either!

What do you recommend for cleaning the dust and fuzz out of your cartridges?
Seriously, you could probably hatch up a bit of circuit board using gold thread and stiff green felt. I'd suggest using a stiff top for the console should you make a space for a cartridge, but it'd probably make it less snuggly.

I always used to just up-end my cartridges and give 'em a blow. Which reminds me of a shirt I wanted - had a picture of a NES cart on it and said "Blow Me", heheh.
I had thought of making it 'workable', yeah. My original idea was actually a cardboard skeleton stuffed with polyfil, but that's not as snuggly. But would make it able to have an open-close lid and the slot for the carts to slip in.
Green felt and gold thread is brilliant! I might have to nab that idea

The controller and console took about a week each to make, working on and off. I suppose it would have been faster if I'd machine stitched some but then hand stitching and TV goes together so well!
