Description
Sorry for the spoilers but I figured, it's been 3 weeks, if you haven't seen this film by now, it's not really a priority for you...
Anyway! I really loved all the raw emotion in this scene, and couldn't resist from drawing them.
SIDE NOTE:
I want to make it absolutely clear that I adored this movie, but I do not view these two as a romantic pairing. I really love the obviously deep connection that they share, but I don't think that the *kiss* was at all meant to be romantic, like many of the Reylo shippers are pushing. To me, that felt like a strong "Thank You" and "Welcome/welcome home" kiss; like they understand their Force connection as one being. (In fact, I'm pretty sure J.J.Abrams and the writer both confirmed that the kiss was not a romantic one, but was meant as a sharing of a spiritual connection).
What did you guys think of this movie/scene in particular? I would love to see your opinions; please be kind in the comments <3
P.S. I have commissions open! Send me a message!

I see their relationship as complex and fascinating without being romantic as well.

I saw that movie last night. 🙂
Who were to have thought that Rey is the Emperor's granddaughter......

I actually really liked that part, but I think it would've played out better if they alluded to that in the other movies.

Thank you!
I also just looked up here that J.J. Abrams described their complicated relationship as "romantic" in a sense that they are very spiritually connected, but not at all in a sexual way. However, I think the way it was presented made a lot of people see it as a romantic-climax type of thing.
