Description
I knew not Tim Burton couldnยดt make a movie without his beloved Helena Bonham Carter. Just got out more info about "Dark Shadows".The idea is that Helena Bonham Carter will play Dr. Julia Hoffman, who is specialized in rare blood disease and will try to help the vampire Barnabas Collins (Depp's character) to cure his thirst for blood.
Said even now that Michelle Pfeiffer is in negotiations to play Elizabeth Collins Stoddard. The Duchess of Collinwood Estate where the old series and the movie also will be take place.
So Bonham Carter was of course not so unexpected. Just a matter of time to even get confirmed that she will have a role in including "Frankenweenie". But I think it is fun that even Michelle Pfeiffer will be involved. She was of course the role of Catwoman very good seat she worked with Tim Burton. Will might not seem so boring anyway, with even a movie where Johnny Depp and Tim Burton work together. For it seems to appear more and more other colorful actors who might come to dominate the film.
I think this project become more and more interesting the more one reads about it.

Chloe Grace Moretz ("Let Me In") will also appear, as Carolyn. While Eva Green ("The Golden Compass" "Casino Royale" "The Dreamers") is playing Angelique.

That would be weird to have a young looking Mrs. Collins.

Lol, Dark Shadows was gothic soap opera with many melodramatic performances. I guess if you can imagine Addams Family as a day time drama... then sort of.

Maybe it didn't air in Sweden? But if you don't like black and white films it does get color somewhere in the second season. But you might laugh over the pink candles.
I can't wait to see Tim Burton's Dark Shadows too!

Wow, it may be unsurprising that he would use Depp & Bonham, but they fit they're characters perfectly. And also, that new girl looks lovely, whee is she from? She looks so familiar. And I hope Elfman works on the music for it!

yeah i like depps and bonham carters work in burtons movies. a little bit unsurprising but are perfect for the roles Michelle Pfeiffer did work with Burton when she was playing Catwoman in Batman Returns. Also Jackie Earle Haley (Freddy Kreuger in the latest Nighmare on Elm Street movie) and Eva Green (Casino Royale, The Golden Compass) are in talks for playing roles in Dark Shadows.

I can't wait to that movie! I think that Bonham Carter, Burton and Depp are a GREAT team and I LOVE it when they work together in movies! I mean Bonham Carter and Depp are great actors with great chemistry. It's not strange or boring (at least to me) that Burton uses them all the time! I would too if I were him.
