Do you know the pieces I used or are they new to you? They connect fairly easily.

The pieces used in the skull are unknown for me, it looks like a raven or a bird.
Which set do they come from?

Very well made construction - it looks very much like a triceratops.
I'd love to see what you could do without a limited selection!

I'm backed up with projects right now. But school is forcing me to take a break from building anything until it's over.

For both masks and more, look here: [link]
This is a database for all the pieces/colors and where to buy them. For the two specifically look under bionicle masks and animal parts I think. Hope this helps.

This is sweet! If you happen to know, about how much do you spend making one of your lego pieces? I always thought that it was expensive, so I never got around to making them.

I always reuse my pieces when I'm finished so I don't buy new pieces for a new model. It's more about having a decent sized collection to work with. Using Bricklink is the cheapest way to do that.
But if I were to put a price on how much the pieces are worth in each of my models, I'd say it ranges from $20 to $60 USD.

Thanks for the quick reply. I usually can't bring myself to take apart my creations after I build them. I look forward to seeing what you build!

I see... clever, I wouldn't have sufficient parts of the right colours to pull off something that neatly within a colour scheme, I'm also missing the head-piece but I think I can work out a number of the aspects of it's contruction...

Do you work for Lego? Because you have a LOT of it. And I'm pretty sure that head wasn't used originally as Bionicle, so that doesn't make it strictly Bionicle

retinence In reply to Brain-Stick [2009-11-26 14:07:47 +0000 UTC]
No I do not work for Lego. My collection is actually small compared to most adult builders. And I count the head as a bionicle because it cannot attack to any brick element. Technically speaking, I should say that it is strictly bionicle AND technic. But I won't.
