Description
This is a collaboration between me and the wonderfully perfect and was a dream come true for me and nothing less!
There are several things I wanted to do for so long, make Splatoon fan art and do a collaboration with Cavea. But I haven't been doing a lot of drawing and only since a few months now had gotten back into it again. I felt comfortable enough to attack something big and decided to ask Cavea if she wanted to do a Splatoon collab with me and she said yes! She paints the colours in my dreams!

This isn't just something random though. Cavea is not just a great friend, she's also my Splatoon buddy! I trust her with my life when we are on the same team and will hunt her down when we are on opposite teams. Then again I'd rather be with her because she's crazy good! In fact, since we play so much with each other she basically knows exactly how I play and that is what you are seeing here. I have recon, ink resistance and with my custom blaster I play extremely aggressively, I play the Tank, I get deep into enemy territory and keep as many of them busy on their own turf. The problem with this is that every time I'm up against Cavea you can count on her waiting for me in the corners, hunting me down. The battle field here is Kelp Dome, both our favourite level actually! Good stuff!

So who did what? I did the sketching and the line art, the stuff I'm good at, and Cavea did the flat colouring and the shading, the stuff she's a master at! I had such problems with the anatomy, it's my main problem but I had an exact image in my head and actually managed to draw that precise image and this does not happen to me a lot, I did what i wanted with the line art and Cavea did EXACTLY what I hoped with her colouring and shading skills, she threw her magic on it and together we created the ultimate collab!
