Dont worry, I used to suck with backgrounds too when I first started digital art but after practicing with them on my own... I eventually got a lot better and now I can do them from my head (mostly natural themed ones) just takes a bit of time, that's all heh.

there is tool named supernova in gimp, so you can find it in filters on lighting effects

thanks so much buddy without lines? ow no, i didnt do it, just i was making outline with soft brush and colored in photoshop, thats why it looks like without outlines
