Amber-Riptide is being an awesome pal and drawing up Matty for me! (Guys, you might be witnessing a new internet friendship beginning to blossom lol) so here's a nice little ref sheet I drew up for her

1) Matty chilling with her art bag. She's got a tat as you can see; you can google the design as like "older dipper pines tattoo" or something like that, and it's this really cool, tribal-looking sleeve. I gave it to Matty because why not?

2) 4 different nonconsecutive headshots of Matty because for the longest time I despised drawing her from the right because I didn't know what to do with her hair, but I think I've come to a good middle ground

3) very badly communicated size reference chart. Matty's human, so she isn't on the taller end of the spectrum. I'd probably put her at basically around Lars's height. She's still taller than all of #ShortSquad though lol

4) badly drawn shot of her necklace (because I don't have it fully realized in my head) but it's basically a pink bubble with a cute little crystal flower in it. (Backstory: Steven gave it to her when she lost her old necklace, the flower was a pendant on it)

5) just what her eye looks like. Tear drop-like at the top, but then kinda squares out at the bottom

6) just a fun little comic for myself. I showed Matty to one of my friends one time and they said that she kinda looked like Jamie, so I had to draw it out lol. If you can't read it, here's what it says;
Jamie: Nuh-uh, you ain't stealin' my look, girl! I'm a trained ACTOR!
Steven: This kid's a genius!
Matty: Yo, who the f is this?

Yeah, totally quoted Non-Stop from Hamilton at the bottom there. That's right, I have a new obsession. (Not really new but kinda because I just found out about it like a month and a half ago)

So I didn't color her because I have no color scheme in mind for her yet. Amber-Riptide , she's free for your interpretation lol. I'm excited to see what you come up with! Thanks so much again!
