Commission forPhineas is going to fix some spaceship stuff.
This guy is a hell of a fish guy. I just love Yark-Warks fuzzy alien designs.
I wish there would be a comic with these characters one time.

ah. depends on what I want. I use Photoshop for that. Firs of all I have the background on a single layer without any character. When I only want to blur parts of the background I'm using a tool that's called blur. (it looks like a drop of water). If I want the whole background to be blures there's a filter that's called gaussian blur.

Dang, this is killer. I have never seen a more appropriate use of textures in a background before today and your choice of colors really make this pop.
I adore the shading in this too. It's simple yet very effective. The right balance of shadows without overrendering and getting rid of the more graphic, cartoon-y style this picture was meant to portray.

This seriously feels like a scene out of an animation, just the dynamic lighting and the perspective & focus going on in the background is really cool to look at and makes it really feel alive. Very very awesome piece.~
