When I drew the first concepts for Retropolis, I never drew the island first, so I didn't even have this image in my head, what kind of impact it has to build such a city. Now I wonder if I shouldn't move towards a more Arcology-like design with less of a footprint on the island. I think this is an issue I'll keep wrestling with for some time.

Yeah, it's almost intimidating how the serenity of the island gets lots with the overshadowing building.
