OBJECTION! Phoenix Wright, (aka Naruhodo Ryuichi), is a veteran Defense Attorney and known as the man that can turn the tables on his opponents in the courtroom. While he is a veteran now, Phoenix of course was at one point a rookie, gaining his position and status through countless battles in the courtroom. Phoenix is a very carefree person and always puts his friends before himself always wanting to help them in anyway he can (of course this ends up firing back on him most of the time, like getting stuck with the bill!) Phoenix is most notable for being able to win cases when all hope seems lost, essentially turning nothing into something. On top of this, he’s also had to defend HIMSELF in the courtroom at least 3 times in his career, talk about having the odds stacked against you! In the World of ACE ATTORNEY, all trials are conducted within a time span of three days, within these days Phoenix Wright, alongside his Co-counsel and trusted friend Maya Fey, proceed to take on extremely powerful and thorough Prosecutor’s such as Miles Edgeworth, Franziska von Karma, and Prosecutor Godot to name a few. He also brushes up against the police from time to time and for whatever strange reason, Phoenix always seems to be paired with detective Dick Gumshoe, what a coincidence! Phoenix runs his own law firm known as Wright & Co., Law Offices (later becomes The Wright Anything Agency), which was originally his mentor’s law office Mia Fey, but was passed on to Phoenix after a tragic event occurred. Seeking out the truth and believing in his clients until the very end, Phoenix Wright will fight the good fight to prove his clients innocence and gain a non guilty verdict no matter who he faces or what obstacles he has to go up against, the Ace Attorney always gets his man!
