◆ PERSONALITY ◆

A teenager with a sunny disposition and an almost permanent cheerful smile on her face to hide the loneliness she had felt in the past. Willing to put her past behind, she is positive and hopeful to meet new friends in this new place.

Having been sheltered when she was young, she is very curious about things unrelated to magic and is eager to learn or hear about what others has to share. For the most part, she is very forbearing with pranks but if you overdo it, you might find yourself anonymously gifted with intentionally failed dishes and pranking potions.

In most cases, she’s very entertaining of conversations however, when it comes to her past and her family, she is secretive and vague. If one becomes too pushy with the topic, you’ll end up talking to a grumpy doll instead.

Despite her lively and sunshine image, she is bizarre and fond of light occult/macabre/morbid stuff. She is fond of dark humor and horror stories, probably stemming from her family's childhood stories. She holds a certain affinity to some themes others might find creepy...

◆ HISTORY ◆

Ashe grew up in an elite magician clan with a long history of turmoil over choosing an heir to the head of clan. Ashe’s brother, a prodigy, is a strong candidate for the spot. However, the young boy had fallen to a terrible illness and eventually became very weak physically, hurting the family’s chances.

Unable to understand the quarrel between the families, she would often spend her time outdoors, playing with kids of her own age or even younger. This angered her elitist parents, telling her not to mingle with the peasants, and locked her up in her room. She was left to study magic in books and brew potions in her lonesome. In her loneliness, she would talk to her dolls and give them names, and learnt the art of ventriloquy to amuse herself. When she isn’t talking to dolls, she writes letters to communicate with friends instead.

This boring lifestyle went on for years until one very normal weekend, Ashe sorted through the mails she has received. A particular catchy flyer arrests her attention and invites her to Toffee Town. Knowing that her parents will be greatly against this, she decided not to ask their permission and just leave a farewell letter. She started packing up her things, and particularly took Vivi with her. That very night, she sneaked out of the family manor and sought a train ride to Toffee Town.

Her heart raced with mixed emotions, of fear and excitement. She knows she can’t run away from her past forever, but she wanted a chance to live a different life. With a hopeful heart, she looks forward to a more peaceful life in Toffee Town.

◆ Her hometown is a secluded village of mages. It is a land of permanent winter, with ice-capped mountains as the borders.
