Shou has been a little bit busy these days, so I had no other option but to draw myself...This drawing ended up being more like practise than anything else, the design is not exactly what I was aiming at the beggining, but whatever.
Is cool enough I guess... (not..Or more like I can't stop thinking that it's a bizarre combination between Sailor/Magical Girl (Shou pointed out that) with what?? a spear, medieval setting?? wtf?)
Well, I don't know..

From my experience, that is how it goes sometimes. You will go in with one concept, and end up producing something else, either right away, or end up changing it later. I am actually in the process of doing such a thing right now, changing a few details on one character from the sketch I posted on here, and almost completely changing the look of my ID character that is on the front page of my DA page.
I will check out your gallery more and see what I think of it, if this image is representative of your style, you may have a new follower!

Yes, it almost always happens I guess. (Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it's not, haha)
But well, I think the best thing is to keep improving until you reach that "initial goal" (if it turned out to be better that the outcome), but that depends on the person maybe..

Sorry for that, but the thing is that we're actually a team (Shou and me: Prya). And he's in charge of the drawings all the time, but maybe there will be a few more exceptions like this one.. (me drawing and painting) So yeah, I'm the one who does all the painting while he's the one whoe does all the drawing. And maybe the way I paint his drawings are very similar the way I paint mine, but there are a few differences. And our styles are different too, so.. yep.Β
