Well dear friends, it's been nearly two months since my last entry on DA, and I must say, it's been pretty harrowing. A lot of that though is due to my web-design bootcamp taking my greatest attention to do correctly (after all, this is helping lead to a new career for me).

That being said, I am happy to have the opportunity to share something special with you all that I created as my final checkpoint (assignment) for my bootcamp. The intention was to create a single-page webpage that is designed to promote a new movie being released, and provide the most simplistic layout for anyone to take advantage of online.

Hearing this option available, I couldn't help but have the movie be themed around our favorite Lyoko Warriors and fighting against X.A.N.A. on a bigger scale. And so, I decided to have this page created to promote a feature-length journey for our six Warriors combatting the rogue virus, who has now taken on a hostile take-over of major cities on each continent. Quite the challenge indeed, but as we know, our heroes have faced much worse.

In this piece, I incorporated the looks of our heroes in their Evolution forms, but kept the honesty of the 2D version as well including Jeremie's original look, and the looks of the Skid and factory. As a tongue-and-cheek reference, I noted the date of Dec. 25th, 2017, which is going to be the debut of Code Lyoko: Rebirth, which will be the continuation of the series we all know and love, which will be released on YouTube.

And so, without further ado, I give you my mock-up page to promote, "Code Lyoko: The Marabounta Protocol."
