thanks peter! i never actually colored it. i think you're right about tree tops - more and more, i find myself scanning my memory for ideas. i'm constantly thinking about how to shape my ideas, how can i take an idea to a different place, etc. i find myself treating my drawings like cover-songs, searching for new and interesting ways to complicate or simplify...

thanks! i've lost my nerve as far as coloring goes. i totally screwed up the other one, so now i plan to experiment in photoshop first...

that photoshop can be such fun. i love going in there. i do at times get carried away and spend alot of time blowing the pic up and trying to get every single pixel just perfect. that is where sharp lines really pay off ! i would be lost without it thought.
