Yea. It's been there for at least 20 years. Originally it was called Something Like African Lion Safari. I think the Lions got too dangerous out there. They have several types of animals and many of them come right up to your car for something to eat.

I know The Wilds is near Zanesville and have talked to folks who have been there, but I haven't been there either. It is supposed to be pretty good.

I have to agree with Myducks, This is absolutly gorgeous! The perspective you got on this Giraffe makes me speechless, I've always loved Giraffes, between them and zebras there is no better safari animals that show my own disposition.
Though I am short(4'6"). The kind footing and ways of watching over the whole savana for animals who depend on your site makes life so much more blissfull for Giraffes.. I often feel they are nothing short of gods eyes on those who we can protect.. You cought the best side of this Giraffe hands down, your sharpness of this image makes it look as though he/she was standing and waiting for your wonderful flash. And the background of blue skys and clouds makes you feel your right next to it..

Thank you very much. As I am only a foot taller than you, I can understand what you are saying. It would be nice to have a perspective where we could see all around us, but sometimes that is not a physical perspective.
You mentioned "he/she was standing and waiting for your wonderful flash". I don't know if you meant flash literally, but I rarely use a flash. I especially avoid it around animals as I think it is frightening and cruel and in most cases is not really necessary. Just a photo hint.

the second I saw this I fell in love--this is so gorgeous, and I don't even like giraffes that much! I hope one of my friends will get my hint that its on my wishlist of two things and get it for me. I adore you for this, it's amazing.
