A piece I felt like doing of Cpt. Slade, he's pretty much an unstoppable war machine, who lives only to kill, so i think this is pretty suiting for him
The armor he's wearing is the same as Alister Azimuth, seeing as Alister is a general i assume thats his armor from the praetorian guard, and since it's been about 20 years, i assume his armor would have rusted a bit resulting in it's brown/red color, so i made Slades armor shades of silver/grey instead as it's pretty much brand new armor
and a HUGE thanks to *Geenon-s for doing the flames in this pic for me

OFMG. You do not kill Slade! SLADE KILLS YOU!!!!! Holy crap, it looks like his victims would die of fright before he even gets a chance to hit them. You certainly did a great job making him look hellish! The fire looks good to, very realistic.

Well to be honest, it's because there's nothing that pisses me off more than people coming along and pointing out flaws with my pics, especially if i'm pretty happy with how the pic turned out, which in this case i am, because if there is a flaw that i haven't noticed and someone points it out to me, i cant un-see the flaw, and i'm not gonna go and change a finished complicated pic, so the pic is ruined on me then. That's why I never want crits off anyone or i simply delete any that are just posted without asking.
So thanks for asking first instead of just mindlessly giving unwanted crit like some people do

I see your point, and I have the same problem, haha. I've learned to accept crits, mostly because I need them, since my art has a lot of flaws and I want to improve, even though crit sometimes hurts. I once got pointed out that I never should shade with black because it would look sloppy in my art - since then, I hate to shade with black. Which makes me a bit sad, because I used to love shading because it was a lot simpler. Or when a pic with a boy and a girl and someone commented that they were two gay guys, I never could unsee the fact that the girl indeed look too much like a guy anatomy-wise.
My advice to you is sometimes make little sketches and shade them (because I don't doubt your coloring) and ask for crit. Then you won't do like, huge pictures, but still can accept critic c: Just an idea~
I used to do, but I realized myself that it could hurt to just get crit when you don't wanna, so I kinda stopped xD

a year ago i would have accepted crits, but only from certain people, sure heck, that got me to where i am today, but i feel i've pretty much gotten as good as i'm going to get, and considering it can take me up to 5 hours to get a pic completely finished from start to finish, the last thing i want to hear is that there's something wrong with it.
ah,so you think something's wrong with the shading, well that doesn't matter since it was literally a 5 min job that looks decent enough to me, i could have spent ages on it getting it perfectly right but it was coming up to 6 hours and i just wanted to get it over and done with
but anyway, i still don't want crit of any kind from anyone but a select few, and hopefully people will respect that.

I just want to note here that most pics take me 6 hours or more, so time shouldn't be too much of an issue. But I'm not sure if you want to do art for a living---?

Some won't be as respectful, but I understand where you're coming from and even if I don't approve of it, I'll respect it. I just hope you'd accept critic in the future, because there is always room to improve c:

Actually, I'm applying for an art course in college this year, then i'm going into animation after that hopefully, it's not that i hate that it takes so long, it's just usually i have other things to do too
