This is a very interesting piece. I love how the dress moves with the motion even the sading that goes with it. The light hits her perfectly. The trees are well put out and the background colour with the detailed moon is just perfect and shows that it is Higurashi.
Even the blade is glowing.
I would like to point something out. The left arm (right facing) seems a bit odd to me. I can see what you were trying to do but you can't tell where the elbow is. In on spot it looks like its coming out from the sleeve but then again it shows near the wrappings. When you see the elbow from the wrapping it makes the arm look misplaced.
Everything else is just 100% I can't do things like that. Makes me Jelly >w<

Character is beautiful, like that orange hair and white dress.
Also blue details (eyes for example) are great.
Purple bowtie and shoes... Interesting.
Oh gosh, red background (which kills honor, I know)
Red moon is superb, you made it good.
That there is also black, it makes a horrible impression.
Let`s not forget that knife, what she is holding.
It looks so realistic, that I would back off.

Wow. This is just amazing! There are so many good things to comment about I don't know where to start *_*
The thing I love most about this fan-art is the shading; you've made the piece so intricate and visually appealing with it. The shade on the dress is especially great! Rena's hair is wonderful also, I don't know a lot of artists who can do her hair justice but you did it very well! The anatomy is perfect, which for most people is the hardest part! The arms and hands are absolutely perfect to me, you've created a style that makes them elegant - The more I look at both the hand the more details I see which makes me love your style more! >_< The background is also great; it enhances the picture wonderfully and gives it a great impact! I'm trying to think of ways for you to improve but nothing is really striking me XD The only thing I would change, personally, would be the hat. Rena's hat is often a lot 'poofier' than what you have done, however I'm sure it would look just as well to people who don't know who Rena is.
Overall a beautiful and well executed piece! I'll have to go check out the rest of your gallery now....

Your piece's coloring is fantastic! I love the coloring your have done fore the knife and the background to compliment her body. You have done that very successfully. The figures body flow is very effective. I just wish for the costume she had that other stocking on the back leg, even if there was a hint of it. I'm not sure if that was intentional but it almost looks like it was forgotten about. Also the bangs you drew look light and fluffy. With the art from the series being different from yours it is acceptable but I feel that you should exaggerate the color of the shading between the bangs separations instead of having them a solid poofy chunk.
In your after I get over the wonder of the coloring. I notice that her right eye is very dark because it looks like you drew the eye lashes to high on the eye compared to the other set.
The only comment i can really put out there for the coloring is that the side of the nose that is shadowed looks almost like you shaded it like a blush mark and not a dramatic shadow like you display on all of your clothing and her legs.
For your characters expression I feel like i get a bit lost. With the clips I have seen she is either happy and content or snapped ready to go at it and kill someone and so has that crazed expression which i'm just craving for to push the piece over the edge. Her expression reads more like an absent minded "hee hee I think i want that".
