Description
Well, that's one way of making thunder and lightning!The Download is a 3600 x 3600 png and has a fairly large filesize.
Sky Popper is ~fanofetcetera 's character.
Cutie mark was re-used from Sky Popper's ref sheet .
This isn't my first time trying to draw this character, but I think this one was one of the better turnouts, due just as much to accidental fortune as it was to deliberate decisions.

Not entirely sure what I'm supposed to say to that.
The character's creator likes what they like. Far as I can tell, they're making the characters they personally enjoy observing and exploring. Doing what one likes is one of the best way to stay motivated to keep producing. I'd much rather they make whatever they please that coincidentally overlaps with my own interests, then burn through their own passion trying to please others.
I mean I personally think romance, courtship, and those kinds of relationships in general are all pretty silly when they all seem to be over-complicated demonstrations of the ideas of friendship and family. But I think that of all living things, not just fictional. And I'm pretty darn sure I wouldn't be alive today if people didn't act on those kinds of feelings. So I don't have much qualm with it, even if I don't understand or have faith in it.

I don't really know. I suffer from hyper-morality which causes a bit of homophobia i guess, because thats mainly why i hate shipping. O.D.D. sucks...

It's OK for you to not like things. Nobody has the right to demand anyone must like everything. But you don't have to announce those dislikes either. Sorta depends on the situation though.

As Retl said, yeah, she's gonna be more of a into girls type pony until she finds the PERFECT guy, which would probably be an OC I make to keep things less confusing. I have her first girlfriend, and maybe only cause they'd be perfect for each other, in the works currently.

I think that may actually be a part of why ~fanofetcetera is selective of who she wants to have her character drawn with, but I'm not totally sure. They seem like they'd be fun to hang out with, though.

I dunno. Given how Pinkie bounces on that blue balloon in Secret of My Excess , and that she was at a party with Pokey Pierce in Call of the Cutie and showed no protest when he was popping them, she's probably pretty chill with it if not a fan herself. And as she said herself "It's all in good fun, and Pinkie Pie loves to have fun!"
Or maybe she chewed him out for it off-screen and would do the same with Sky Popper.

It's certainly not impossible, though it starts to lean dangerously close to conspiracy land. Kinda like building an argument that we're all agents in the middle of a large computer program to explain away things that science hasn't yet. It could sound good, and there would be no way to disprove it, but it'd be near impossible to prove either, and it probably wouldn't affect much of the content in alternative arguments even if the conspiracy were true or not.
Have we even seen a single character in FiM react negatively to balloons or balloons bursting in any way?

No way. Absolutely not.
In Call of the Cutie when Pokey Pierce was popping the balloons that Applebloom's hiding under, no one reacted negatively about it. Although Applebloom was forced to hide elsewhere because of it. My theory is that when after she saw it, she simply blew up new balloons and put them where the popped balloons previously were. There's a fic that focuses on the PokeyPie relationship regarding it. It's called Whirring written by a really good MLP fanfic writer named *Closer-To-The-Sun . Check it out: [link]
Later on when Pinkie popped the balloon she was bouncing on in Secret of My Excess, nobody complained because that is how Pinkie acted.
So basically, no one in FiM can react negatively to balloons or balloons being popped.
Off-topic: We should have like some kind of group RP with all of us RP'ing as our respective pony OCs. That would be great.

I dunno about that. That one episode shows that Pinkie may just like the same thing too. Gotta clean up after the party afterall. And Pinkie's friends with everypony apparently, so Sky gives her free balloons all the time.

I agree - I thought more in terms of a playfull "battle", than really being annoyed. In the end, it is all good fun. This is why I also like that Pokey character, and find it kinda cute to see people have him team up with Pinkie. A bit like a party version of the two royals taking care of day and night. And a party being over only means that another party can be started!

Thank you on both accounts. I wanted her to have the capabilities to do what a normal person could, but a needle seemed impossible without using her mouth to hold it, but I decided that was too dangerous for her so I came up with that hair accessory idea and lekadema toyed around with it's concept and came up with that.
