figured id give this a shot XD this is the process i went through in creating me last piece of art!! im sorry its so big XD anyway, i hope this helps people in some way XDDthis is the finished picture!!

here are some answers to some frequently asked questions im getting
(I think) i use a Bamboo Create Tablet with pressue sensativity
I use Paint tool sai.
im terrible at explaining things haha, i know my art isnt perfect, especially with shading and anatomy and all that jazz, but its the best i got XD this isnt an exact way to shade or color or do lineart...but its how i do it and yeah n_n

well you can still get really good lineart with just traditional art!! before i did digital i used to do traditional stuff all the time!!

I usually go through this process, but for some reason my art is never anywhere near as clean as this.
I really love the shading techniques used in this (and the final piece). I think I'll have to learn a few things. ^^

i usually go through something like this XD the way i color usually varries, ill usually just do the flat color of the hair, than shade it than highlight it, than go on to the skin and do the shading and highlights, and so on XD but i figured doing it this way would give a more organized look to it haha

;u; Thanks. I follow that routine too. However, I always have trouble when it comes to shading/highlighting the hair and clothes (not to mention being really bad at clothing folds, lol.)
I currently use SAI for my art, since it's the only one I can use at the moment which supports my tablet. However, it could just be my unsteady hands, but my lines are really, really inconsistent. D:
Ah well, I guess it takes longer for some people than it does for others to improve, lol.

hahah its taken me a while to improve trsut me XD ive been drawing for quite a while XD
jafklda;s clothes and folds are awful! i hate making them!! the hair always takes me the longest though haha. i really dont think i can say im good at shading...mainly because ive no idea what im actually doing DX

Awesome work, though I would like to know if your tablet is pressure sensitive cause I've heard you get those wispy effects by pressure sensitive tablets... That or a long time with the pressure tool.

If you are even the slightest bit serious about doing any kind of art on the computer you will need a tablet. You can safely assume that this person uses one.

haha i honestly dont know XD i think its just years and years of doing it...cuz i was never really taught how to shade i kinda just kept workin on it till i got something decent XD im sure theres a lot of things wrong with the shading though XD i can just make it look nice, i honestly have no idea what im doing haha
