I Dont Understand

I don’t understand you,
But its not like I have a right to.
I don’t understand why,
You need to be everyone’s arms to fall into,
And shoulder to cry on.
I wish you were mine.
I wish you were there for me too,
Instead of catering to everyone else’s needs.
It seems like you never know what’s bothering me.
Is it that you don’t know,
Or is it that you're preoccupied with other people problems,
That you put mine on hold?
I wish I could fall into your arms,
And cry on your shoulder when I need to,
But you too busy with everyone else,
And I feel like I cant.
I feel like you're being taken up
And there’s no room left for me on your shoulder.
You try and help me,
But you just don’t understand why I’m hurting.
You don’t understand what I’m feeling.
In your mind it seems to be no big deal,
But in my mind, its part of my biggest fear.
Even though its over,
I can still feel it sometimes,
When I’m alone
And thinking,
I think about her,
And I start to cry.
I know in my mind it wasn’t anything serious,
I just cant get my heart to believe the same.
