Description: Dakota is a dark blue-gray, tall, muscular, long-legged friesian-clyde horse with cream colored hooves and freckles, along with a stripe on her face. Her nose is slightly pinker and she has a long, curly, black mane with white highlights. She has large ears and pale brown eyes. She is very underweight but not life-threateningly so. She has a damaged tongue due to a harsh bit.

Backstory: Dakota was born to a human breeder, far away from equestria (a different dimension), and then auctioned off as a racehorse where she was raised to do just that. She never got time with her mother. For the first five years of her life all she knew was human cruelty and busting her ass running for them. During a race, her jockey was hurting her badly so she decided to fight back, bucking him off and breaking his leg. She was then retired and taken to a slaughterhouse to be killed, but she escaped, being able to jump over a fence and running for her life. She was never chased but she kept running out of fear that she'd be returned to that hell. Somehow, she came into contact with a rift that seemed to be coming from nothing. Having nothing else to live for and nowhere to go, she fit through it and was taken to Equestria, where she came into contact with Ponyville residents. Being shy and skittish, she tried to avoid conflict as much as possible, avoiding the questions about where she came from. She tries to be like the ponies there but can't move the way they can, doesn't eat the same things as them, and has different habits. She had never been in a house, only a pasture and a stall. She just doesn't understand them, but they treat her way better than humans did.

Personality: She's shy and avoidant but kind hearted and of sweet nature. She enjoys being alone with birds and other small animals, but is easily spooked and can be aggressive. She has no love interests and has no desire for friendship, and is confused about cutie marks so she avoids talking about them. She keeps herself isolated a lot.
