okay help, i was going to draw Tamatoa at an angle where what was focused was the ripped off leg and a look of horror on his face is kinda in the back, bc imo Maui ripping his leg off was probably really traumatizing and that's one of the reasons he isolates himself????? idk uhbut i just feel like Tama has a lot of trust issues bc of it, bc i can imagine them being friends when crabo was smol, which is why the leg here is a lot smaller than it should be, as when Maui and Moana went to get the hook, they said it had been ages since Maui had been down there. so he probably had a lot of time just sitting there growing and stuff ig
also maybe he's jealous of Maui in some way idk
the reason i drew maui instead is because i forgot how to draw crabo lmao save me

Well, this is a sloppy sketch, but I feel like it'll turn into something fabulous.
I can tell y'took some inspiration from Moana but you added some great lil'- Y'know, little shit here and there, I'm- I'm lacking a ton of sleep, I'll just leave the sentence there.
Uh, I might suggest having people critique art that you'd consider finished or really strange. If there's something you've picked up that I appreciate in this, it's the face and especially the jawline.
I gotta fill up more words. Uh.
Fingers. General proportions? I get that different races have different lengths of fingers in relative position and Polynesians' features are stocky, but maybe use an actual Polynesian male islander's hand for reference and then translate it into this style.
