Heavily referenced...especially with the gun...mostly the gun. I suck at drawing weapons. The original photo was posted almost a year ago but I just now got around to doing a picture. Also...yeah hey guys! 8D I've never really left just...things happened in my life and I kinda...dropped almost everything. I did another picture back in February but didn't post it. This was a pose I wanted to use for Luke for awhile and I really wanted to share it.

As for the fate of the RP series...I'm still figuring that out. I'll let you know. I'd rather focus on this for now.

This is sort of a companion piece to one I did before. This is set in the same battle.

I envisioned Luke sitting on a stone finding a relatively quiet corner to pray for strength and guidance. All of the blood isn't necessarily his...I almost imagine someone laying there either dead or dying. Perhaps they got carted off by medics, and Luke paused to pray before he inevitably has to duck out back into the burning and bloody battlefield. The graffiti is courtesy of their enemy. The M is actually a symbol of a V placed over an M and is the malevil symbol, and also the symbol for Mukot's forces in general. I wanted a feeling of chaos under the surface, while the sense of calm, the deep breath taken to block everything out shines through as he sits solemnly, praying.

I can't get away from drawing Luke honestly XD But hey, at least I am drawing. This took me around a week working a few hours each night to finish.

I love the camouflage pants...it's taken awhile to learn how to shade them right but I like how they came out here. His hair is a pain as always, and again, heavy reference on the gun. It's not perfect but it's passable XD I wanted to use this for the longest time and inspiration just hit. At least you all can see I've not totally lost what little skill I had XD Again credit to Senshistock for the reference photo. It really helps me practice anatomy.

...I really can't get away from Luke just all the emotions with him are unreal XD Anyway...yeah not dead guys I've been here I've just been largely silent. Hopefully I can get back into things gradually. Don't expect any journals though cause I don't wanna lose the one on my front page since I have no sub anymore. Love you guys!
