There's no rhyme or reason to the order I do these XD I've been thinking about characters in pairs like I did the WoLaD picture series, but, I will most likely still do single shots, or even ones with 3+ XD

This time we've got two of my best known characters; We've got the younger Bertier twin, Nadir, and his wife, Grace Kendall Bertier.

I don't have to do much explaining about them since they're pretty well known. Still.

Nadir and his twin brother Zenith are homeless from birth, but lose their parents, Domino and Neferine, before they are old enough to remember them. Depending on which story line you're following, TSoTL (which they never appeared in anyway) or WoLaD, their parents either die, (in the TSoTL setting) or are kidnapped by Mukot's minions, in the WoLaD setting. In the TSoTL setting, they find out one day what happened to their parents and make peace with them.

In WoLaD, they discover the fate of their parents from Shadow, who takes them along when he rescues them. Neferine is pregnant when she is rescued, after Mukot forced her and Domino to conceive, trying to come up with a plan to attack Armundae and Aerealei, their anti-forms, who are expecting their own child at the same time. Ironically, both Nadir and Zenith are expecting children too.

Nadir and Grace welcome their daughter Naomi first.

Grace meets Nadir is two different ways. In the TSoTL setting, it's after he, his brother, and Halo have a place to live. In WoLaD, it's while they are still homeless, and after falling in love with Nadir, she invites them to live with her.

She loves to dance, but also loves to fight, and works as a bouncer. She loves nothing more than to take down a drunk who assumes she'll be easy to topple. After she meets Nadir, she likes to take his whip and use it like a dance ribbon as she unleashes her deadly dance moves.

She can also hold her own against Nadir in a fight, which they have in the early days of their relationship XP

Nadir also stops smoking when he starts dating Grace. Never the habitual smoker to begin with, he claims Grace meets the needs that the smoking did. He becomes much more mellow and less gruff after falling for her, but because of her personality, he is no less badass than he always was.

In WoLaD, Nadir is very close to his father after his parents are rescued, while Zenith is closer to their mother.

Nadir and Grace have their one daughter, Naomi, and also a niece and nephew, Little Neferine and Luke.

The last time I drew them individually were back in August and September. the last time I drew them together was here:

Yeah I don't really have to link back to characters I draw pretty regularly eh? And for the record, the "More Than Innocent" story line would link more closely to TSoTL, even though the story doesn't match up perfectly. The way he and Grace are meeting is pretty much how they do in both continuities, only Halo and Zenith aren't in trouble XP

Let me say, Nadir's hair is a pain in the butt to draw X_X If you'll notice this is the first time I added an extra down-facing lock on the left side of his mohawk thingy XD I think that adds something to it ^^
