Second picture in the mini series ^^

This time we have three more children of Arandor, however, unlike Knuckles, Jade, and Hidama, who decended only from Kashoku, these three are different. Amy descended from Arandor's daughter Amarie, and inherited the Pure Light that slept within that bloodline since Amarie's birth. She wields the Pure Light, and Knuckles wields the Strength that will allow Arandor's power to be reborn.

The Brokenstar Twins are two of the most special children of Arandor. While they don't have any powers that are particularly special, like their distant cousins do, they are the first to descend from both Arandor and Kashoku. Their father Armundae is a descendent of Kashoku's son Sutei-Midoka, and their mother Aerealei shares a common ancestor with Amy, Arandor's daughter Amarie. You'll see exactly how it breaks down later, for while I've explained countless times how the Battle for Power split the Echidna tribes into Hidama and Knuckles' Angel Island tribe and Jade's Spirit Island tribe, and how that started the House of the Captains, I haven't done much explaining to what happens to Amarie and Arandor's hedgehog tribe.

...Remember however it was a tribe that lived in a forest ...sound familiar?

That's right...Arandor's hedgehog tribe actually lived in Valordian Forest. Funny how Angel Island ended up floating within miles of it after the Battle for Power. lawl. Don't give me that look

Anyway, for that reason, Mukot enjoys hunting the twins, for they embody the kind of life Arandor would have wanted to live. He loved the echidnas so much he would have become mortal and died for them had Mitsukai not been taken from him so tragically. He loved the hedgehog tribe he saved, for they were his people. Aranelion and Elianaron bring together the two races he loved...and to this day it is Arandor alone that has been able to live as both an echidna and a hedgehog, for Shadow never again taught anyone how to change between them, too traumatized by it all to do so. So that makes the twins, and the hybrid generation they will later lead, very special.

Anyway, look out for the twins. They may not have the exact same lives they do in TSoTL, but it'll be just as awesome...especially because they won't lose so many people that are close to them. *zips mouth shut* X3

Amy, Amy, Amy...she's quite different in WoLaD, and not just because she wields Pure Light. By the way...it's a power she can't control. It becomes activated only when Knuckles is nearby and the situation calls for his Strength and her Light. He can't control this hidden power either. He still has his own super strength...this Strength I'm talking about is different. It's the kind of power Kashoku used to created the Master Emerald, Master Jewel, and the Chaos Emeralds and Spirit Jewels to give you a hint.

No way, she's VERY different from TSoTL. First off, she's given the task of raising Kamie, the new Air Element, and treats her like a daughter. And while she isn't as crazy about Sonic as she tends to be in video games, she isn't wild about Knuckles either. That's right. She doesn't even like him much to start.

Oh Camillia...how could you?

Hold your horses, I didn't say they wouldn't end up together. If I write a story where Knuckles and Amy don't get together, report my account cause it musta been hacked ...well, I might write about KnucklesxShade and SilverxAmy at some point, but that's beside the point.

Seriously...it's not like she's mean to him or anything. Amy thinks she's better off on her own to start. She's also wary of the fact that she and Knuckles have to come together in order to win the Wars. She doesn't want to be forced into a relationship. (If it were Sonic she'd react the same way, so don't worry.) It's not like it hurts Knuckles any...at first he isn't thrilled about things either.

What you're gonna love is what finally does bring them closer together.

Besides, I didn't say Aranelion and Elianaron were the only Children of Arandor to descend from both Kashoku and Arandor. I did draw Mikomi and Amarie for the series after all. Don't panic KxA fans

Now for the picture. Aranelion and Elianaron were pretty easy, although I'm continually miffed that their faces never look the same. I realized that when I drew Amy for WoLaD she looked like her twelve-year-old self, but as in TSoTL she'll be two years younger than Knuckles, so I had to draw her a bit older here. (Again if you complain about Amy being older I'll just...ugh) So this will most likely be the picture that goes with her bio.

I just added some black to her outfit...I screwed up at first and made the white parts of her dress black so I had to use a white oil pastel to try and fix it...so that's why that looks funky

And I must say I love Elianaron's pose. I just have to get used to the fact that his forearms are not too short. They're bent in the right place...they probably could have arched up at a higher angle, but hey, I'm working on it.

One final thing. The twins, their blue eyes are supposed to be icy blue...I was stupid and used my blue sharpie on their eyes and they look too dark. They're the same shade as Aaron's and Eli's eyes, a bit lighter than this.

Anyway, the first two pictures showed you the generation of the Children of Arandor that see the start of the War. The next few will show you some of their ancestors, including parents, (of some) and common ancestors they share.
