Before I begin, I want to say, this is one of the first songs the Hansons ever recorded. Infact the first independent album they released, (that is way before they signed with their first record label and released Middle of Nowhere) was called Boomerang, and this was the title track. A second independent album they released was called MMMbop, named after the song, which of course became the debut track for "Middle of Nowhere" So yes, this is one of the first songs they ever did, which is why it differs in style, and just about everything from their later work, besides the fact that the best band ever is behind all of them.

It's a cute little song. If you can find it and download it I'd give it a listen. lol, I think it's a cute song...Zac sings it, and boy, his voice gets cuter and cuter the further back you go, and gets increasingly awesome and emotion-stirring as he gets older.

Anyway, about the picture, this was supposed to be a birthday gift for my friend *Demona909 but Aaron came home a week or so beforehand, and things got so confusing and messed up that I never got around to doing it. *cries* The best I could do was command all who read my journal that day to wish her a great B-day *sad*

Well, anyway, the name Kylie means "boomerang" in the language of Australian Aborigines, well, actually, in their language Kylie is one of the Aboriginal words for the hunting stick used in warfare and for hunting animals, which of course we called a Boomerang and made Kylie a name...which I like better. Kylie is too pretty a name to be wasted as a term for a bent stick

Anyway, this theme picture was a no brainer. Some of you may not know it, but my character Kashkie and Mona's character Kylie are a couple, (and for those of you who are really in the know you'd know they have a daughter named Alkina who has her first birthday on the 29th ) Anyway, that being said, I simply had to have Kashkie and Kylie spotlight this song.

I mean, come on, it wasn't just the name meaning and everything...Kashkie loves his girl and he's gonna make sure she never forgets it! He'll make sure even if he has to sing it to her, (of course he brought flowers to make sure the message takes ) That's my Kashkie, always going beyond the extra mile. I'm actually very happy with how it came out. Besides the usual problem with uneven inking, (it's this stupid ink pen I have. I can't find the old one I used to use >.< ) I'm pretty happy with it. And zomg I drew them with teeth in their mouths ...I swear all too frequently I'll draw in a tongue and call it a day...naw, from now on my characters will show off their pearly whites This was a special occasion...it needed a step towards improvement. And yes, I know that I messed up on Kylie's eyelashes but by the time I realized it it was too late to fix.

Anyway, drawing Kashkie was easy...I've done it plenty before. I struggled a bit with Kylie at first, but I think she came out alright...I certainly hope Mona thinks so. I did my best.

So yeah, think of this as a late b-day gift Mona. You certainly put up with me whining and complaining about everything from Aaron to life in general and haven't blocked me yet, so I think this is well deserved. Thanks for being such a great friend through it all
