I'm going out of order here, but this picture is the third in the series of five. "Embrace" is first, I'm drawing the second one next, this one is third, "More than Innocent" is fourth, and "Just in Time" is the final one.

This story I'm writing will be five parts and each of these picture will be the cover for one part each.

Anyway, while Zenith and Halo go into hiding, not wanting to risk Halo being falsely found guilty while she's pregnant, Nadir must stay behind and try to find a way to clear her name. With no leads, Nadir takes a break to think and alleviate his frustration at a local bar.

A squirrel girl named Grace spots him. She recognizes Nadir from the coverage on the news, and finds him quite handsome.

She approaches him.

"Hey there, I can help you."

Nadir turns around. "What do you mean?"

Grace gives him a flirty smile. "I can help you clear her name. The guy who was killed, his girlfriend is a personal acquaintance of mine."

"You mean she's a friend," Nadir asks.

"Yes, and I'll help you find out if she killed him, but on one condition."

Nadir gets up, raising an eyebrow. "What's that?"

She makes up the ground between him and walks her fingers up his chest.

"In exchange, you'll be mine from now on."

His eyes widen. He's unsure of what to say, but will take any help he can get, and if he feels he has to he'll argue the consequences later.

He grins. "Whatever you say, but only once you help me clear her name."

Grace's eyes twinkle, her smile still flirty. "I'm Grace."

"...the name's Nadir."

She nods then takes his arm. "Let's get this done."

I'm actually quite proud of the bar. I haven't drawn Nadir in months, but he came out pretty good ^^ Haven't drawn Grace since last August and I think she came out awesome here ^^

So yeah, enjoy! I'll get the last picture done, then once I finish the epilogue of WoLaD I'll start this little story.

And I call her Grace Kendall here because she and Nadir aren't married...yet X3
