...what's that? Why is the end nearing us? lawl! It's because for once I've finally draw something that isn't Sonic related

So to the Aaron at school who told me to branch out; THIS IS FOR YOU!!!

And no all you slow people this is not the same Aaron who I've fallen for...this is just a friend at school -.-;

Anyway, quick story. Awhile back my friend ~hopelessromantic721 held a contest that I entered. I didn't win of course, (because all I had was a lowly story to offer ) But I digress. She offered consolation prizes to about three of us who didn't place in the end, and what that was was to draw a Gijinka Pokemon for us, and I chose Gardevoir for mine.

Why? Because Gardevoir rocks out loud!

Anyway, part of this prize was that we would be featured in a couple pages of her PikaMeow comic, namely these two. [link] [link]

That first page has us in color and inspired this picture. (Val is an awesome, BEYOND awesome writer and artist, and I command you to take a tour of her gallery after this!)

So yes, I credit the design to her, and Gardevoir the Pokemon to...Pokemon, (or appropriately Satoshi Tajiri) but the character herself, Laurel, is mine. You'll see what I mean by that in a second.

So, umm, I didn't change the design really from Val's original, (which is fifty-million times better) but I did give Laurel long hair. Gardevoir has short hair, more like how Val drew her, but I did this just to make her uniquely mine. The gold heart locket on a white ribbon is familiar yes? lol. And Val designed the dress...she did awesome on that ^^

Umm, okay, so Laurel is my Gijinka Gardevoir. Even though the design isn't entirely mine, or even the Pokemon that inspired her, this little bio of her is what makes her my own.
