Okay, now for the picture I said I'd upload (that's if you read the description of chapter 1 of Until the End of Forever) I also mentioned it in my latest journal as well.Anyway now that Mikomi has made his return I have a picture of him so you can all know what he looks like. Only his face and hair are described in chapter one, but this is the outfit he will wear in the story, (and it'll be described when I bring it in of course.)
He's grown up alot can you tell?
Yeah, he's now twenty-seven, and has updated his style a lot with his age. He still sticks to the color black but trades out grey for brown, and of course has yellows and blues to coordinate.Hope ya like! ^^ I'm gonna do a picture of Oliver next because he was described in chapter 1 as well.

Actually, I got the name Mikomi from Japanese...it means "star" his full name is Suta-Mikomi which translates to "Star of Hope" some names I took from Japanese, but most of them I just made up!

I notice a lot of people in this art communities are using Japanese words for names. I think that a good Idea. making names for characters is hard as most have been used already. I notice there is a lot of common names on here like "Maria" and "Amy"

I've only used Japanese names for a few of my characters; Kashoku, Mitsukai, Hinsei Hidama, and Mikomi are all Japanese. Some of the names, like Kelsey, Oliver, Zachary, and Jeremy, are the examples where I'll use regular names, but some, like Aranelion and Elianaron, Amarie, Armundae, and Aerealei are ones I make up on my own. I'm often inspired by the names J.R.R. Tolkien came up with for The Lord of the Rings Trilogy; Amarie is one he used only I pronounce it differently, and Armundae and Aerealei were inspired by his style as well. I like to get creative when I can

Yep, sure is. I've come up with two possible ideas for future versions of Jenny; the one I already told you about, and one that I came up with on Wednesday night where she becomes evil and practically insane...I'll write about that version sometime soon in a fanfic that I've thought out.

You could probably find them on dA. Me, I'm different. I just look at a character and draw them...I don't use cross hairs or steps or anything like that. I just draw...I'm weird like that. Everyone else makes circles for the head and stuff...I don't.

There's definitely a method to it...I've kinda noticed that Sonic's head seems to mainly be a standard circle with spines coming from it. But then you just need to add the facial features and make it a more imperfect circle, and it should come out correctly. The same thing mostly applies to Shadow, Rouge, Amy (for the most part), and Cream. Blaze, Silver, and Tails all require different approaches, but I have yet to find out what they are...

See for me I always start off drawing a character's ears, then their "hair" (or for foxes and bats the sides of their head) then I draw the muzzle and the eyes and work from there. Like I said I never use circles or lines for references and do everything free-hand. I haven't drawn Blaze or Silver but having drawn foxes before I always draw the ears, then the sides of the head, then the white muzzle fur, and work on the details later.

I see. I'd like to do furry art like :iconAlvin-Earthrworm:, but he's a god when it comes to that stuff (a friggin' GOD), so it'll take a hell of a lot of time to get to his degree of furry artwork. However, with Sonic stuff, I'll have an easier time of it.

Hm. I see. I think changing the style of art will help with poses, since there's only so much you can do with the standard MLaaTR style.
