Companion Piece to "Father and Son"

Okay, so, I keep putting off the Christmas story, plus one more Christmas pic I had wanted to do, and this and the companion piece for it are the result.

First off; ZOMG THE BLANKET IS SO BEAUTIFUL <333333

Ahem, anyway, this is Brooke with little Amy bundled up in a blanket, resting in her arms.

Even by this time Brooke and Cody know their daughter is special; they just don't know how special.

The color of the birthmark is the shade that it takes when it is visible on Amy. Now, for Brooke, it's yellow when you can see it, but with Amy it's about the same shade it was on Amarie.

Anyway, the picture kinda explains itself. Amy would have been born pretty recently, since Brooke is still in a hospital gown.

Now, Brooke's neck looks too long, so please don't bug me about it XD Brooke also looks better on paper as far as the coloring.

And finally, I'll rave about the blanket again. I used two prismacolor pencils for it, and I basically tried a new technique with them. They lay down smoother than my other pencils so I go creative blending the purple streaks and I love how it looks. I'm gonna have to get one of those big expensive sets of prismas someday <3
