Now I see how it can be difficult naming a band...and this one is just ficticious!

Anyway...these are probably the only characters of mine, besides the enemies, that I haven't drawn. If you think back to the beginning of "Love That Gives True Peace" then you'd remember Shadow and the fox kids found Hidama in Radical City, and found him with the help of Shadow's three friends, Bill, Zachary and Joel. Not only were they members of a band, but they were the unofficial law enforcement for the city. If you gave somone trouble, they'd be on your tail lightning quick X3

Well, now for some information that will end up on their bios. Basically, these three are friends, but aren't your average, "Best friends since childhood" Infact they haven't always been musical...except for Bill, who I'm starting with first.

Bill is the in the middle as far as age. These three are my oldest characters by far, and for Bill, he is age 26. His birthplace is in a small town just outside of Metropolis City, known as Wingnut Village. Again, he is the only one of the three that has immersed himself in music from an early age. He started off playing piano along with his sister and brother, both younger, but quickly moved to electric and acoustic guitar. As he grew up, he and his younger siblings liked to perform for their neighbors, with his younger sister moving to light percussion, (such as bongos and tamborine), and his younger brother sticking with piano.

He lived a relatively happy life, until his parents divorced. Bill was torn in two when this happened, for while he loved both of his parents dearly, when both of his siblings wanted to stay with their mother, Bill made the difficult decision of leaving with his father. He did his best to explain his choice, loving his mother and siblings very strongly, but also realizing he couldn't let his father go alone. When he was 16, he packed up what little he could bring with him, among other things pictures, one of his sister's stuffed animals (which she gave him to take) and of course, his black electric guitar.

He and his father struggled along at first, but ended up in Radical City when Bill turned 20, where he eventually met Zachary and Joel, who had gotten into music as well at this point in their lives. They formed their band and their friendship and started to write music together. They quickly became popular among the locals, and when Bill's Dad and Mom made up, he decided to remain in Radical City instead of going back home where his parents reforged their relationship. He still goes home to visit his brother and sister, playing their old songs, and then rocking the citizens of Radical City when he goes home.

Bill is pretty good-natured, slow to anger, very calm and concerned for others, explaining why he chose to follow his father when his parents divorced. He loves to have fun as much as he loves his music, but can and will be serious if the need arises. As with his age, he again falls inbetween Zac and Joel in personality, and often he will be the one to stabilize them both when their personalities are taken to their extremes.

Zachary is the youngest at age 24. Like Joel, he was introduced to music later on in life. He was raised by his grandparents after his parents died in a tragic accident in his hometown of Cliffdale Heights. This meant at the age of seven that he had to move almost halfway across the continent to the town of Riverdale Creek, isolated, with the nearest population being Valordian Village, 100 miles to the south.

He grew up playing sports with the local kids, again not taking an interest in music until his grandfather died when he was fourteen. It was at this time that he began to spend more and more time with his grandmother, fearing he would lose her before he was ready to be on his own. It was during this time that she brought music into his life. She tried to teach him several instruments, including piano and guitar, but couldn't find anything he liked until he started playing a set of drums that belonged to one of their neighbors. As he learned to play the drums, he learned to sing, and grew closer to his grandmother than ever before.

Sadly, his grandmother finally passed away when he turned 19. Riverdale Creek held too many sad memories, even amongst the good, and so he packed up his drum set and his other belongings in his grandmother's car and left his home. He traveled a great deal for that next year, finally ending up in Radical City where he met Joel and Bill and again formed a friendship and band with them. His music keeps the spirits of not only his grandparents, but also his parents alive. Every time he sings, Zachary sings for them, in remembrance of the only family he ever knew, until he met Joel and Bill, who are now like brothers to him.

Zachary is the one who is always in a good mood. Often times he's the one who will keep Bill and Joel in good spirits, and knows just how to drive their audiences into a wild frenzy. He's not one to get depressed, and is almost constantly optimistic. These are traits he had to have in order to survive the tragedies in his life, and in turn have helped to heal the wounds others have suffered from their own miseries.

Joel is twenty-seven, the oldest, and the one with a darker history than his friends. He grew up with one brother, an agressive father, and a passive mother, who couldn't find the courage to defend herself or her two boys. Often times it was Joel who would stand up and argue with his father, even at a young age shouting with just as much anger as his father. By miracle or luck, when Joel took a stand, he forced his father's agression into a time-out, so it was Joel who had to protect his mother, keep his father in line, and do his best to keep his brother in good spirits. Thus he too was not introduced into music until much later in his life.

When Joel turned 13, his father was arrested on a traffic violation, and that's when the nature of his violence was made clear to public eye. Although Joel and his brother were never hurt by their father due to Joel's brave defense, their father was charged with counts of neglect, and abuse for the few times their mother was subjected to his rage without Joel to save her.

Sadly, their mother was so far gone, she could no longer care for her children. Joel and his brother were separated, sent to different foster homes. Through it all, Joel had grown close to his little brother, and wouldn't stand for losing him. Joel ran away the first chance he got and never looked back.

Much like the Brokenstar Twins, Joel wandered on his own for much of his adolesence. He arrived in Radical City at the age of 18, and began his own downward spiral. Subjected to an uncaring world, he was introduced to not only smoking, but alcohol as well. He had no stable foundation, often turning to the homeless and violent people in town for aid. One of the homeless people he met changed his life, introducing him to music, and his prized possession, a red bass guitar.

He taught Joel how to sing and play the guitar, and though Joel continued his smoking and drinking habits, he slowly began to heal on some level. However, that all changed when the homeless man he spent time with was gunned down by some random criminal. This drove Joel into rage, and so he tried to take the guy down. Their fist fight in the street led to them both getting hit by a semi-truck; while the criminal died, Joel lived, though he only barely clung to life.

When he woke up in the hospital later, by some miracle, he was reunited with his little brother. His younger brother was living nearby in Resort Bay, and saw news coverage of the accident on television. After so much suffering Joel's brother helped him recover, as well as returning the red bass guitar to him. After much healing, he met Bill and Zachary, becoming their friend and bass player. Joel now lives with his brother in Radical City.

As you might suspect, Joel can sometimes have the negative end of behavior. While he is cigarette and alcohol free and generally in good spirits, he is easily angered and unafraid to jump to someone's defense, making him the most fierce fighter of the three. He also suffers depression from time to time, and often writes his most powerful music when he is in this deeply emotional state.

Umm, had fun designing their outfits! And I can't draw musical instruments...remember Aranelion's stand-up/grande piano hybrid? Oh and btw, Joel is left handed, which is obviously why he is holding his guitar the other way...I know...duh...lol!
