Don't let the anger consume you. It'll lead you to believe lies. Instead, let it heal you, so once again you'll see the truth.
D means that he doesn't care,
A for anger everywhere.
M is for the mess he made,
N means now he starts to fade.
Damn him once for your heart's sake,
Damn him so your heart won't break.
Damn him so that all will see,
That damming him will set you free.
Hate him so you'll feel at ease,
Screaming at him as you please,
But only so the pain will pass,
And you will see the truth at last.
That anger doesn't mean he's wrong,
You still loved him all along.
And one day you'll find peace again,
Someday soon the pain will end.
For through my anger I have seen,
What these nasty words do mean.
I've learned to love despite the pain,
Farewell to hatred's frightful reign.
So angry words, step off the stage,
Your time is done, let go of rage.
For both love and anger heal your heart,
So it can never fall apart.
Love him despite all mistakes,
Love him though your heart did break.
Love him so that he will see,
That loving him will set you free.
