Timeline of events from Pre-Prologue to Post-Epilogue
Part 5, or “Wandering to Love” takes place immediately after Part 4 ends, but shifts the focus away from Hidama and his family, to his best friends Aranelion and Elianaron and their quest to settle down and find love. Elianaron immediately starts a relationship with Camillia the Cat, but it is short lived, and Aranelion and Camillia find love shortly before the twins have their 21st birthday. Part 5 ends in mid February.
A month passes before Part 5 gets going. Aranelion’s Journal, or the Prologue, covers what happens during this transition, and so it’ll be covered here as well. We’ll be picking up where the last portion of the timeline left off. This portion of the timeline will also cover the years preceding Part 6, just as Elianaron does in the Epilogue, Elianaron Reflects. Again, more precise dates will be used here, as opposed to just months and years.
“Wandering to Love” and the Years before the start of Part 6.
July 5, 1983 – Just two days after returning to Angel Island, Hidama and Delilah are
married under the same traditions as Knuckles and Amy. In attendance are
of course Knuckles, Amy and Mikomi, but also Shadow and Rouge,
Aranelion, Elianaron, and Camillia, and even Tails and Cream. The reason
everyone made it in such short notice, is because Hidama contacted them
before he made it back to Angel Island, something he final reveals to
Knuckles when he sees how puzzled Knuckles is by it all. It is during this
celebration that Aranelion and Elianaron mention to Camillia that they
were thinking about moving to Starshine Town and at last settling down
permanently. Camillia is excited by the idea, and promises to have them an
apartment by the time they return to town. Over the next few days, they
help build Hidama and Delilah’s house just as they promised. Once they
are finished, they return to Valordian once more, not just to visit their
mother, but to pick up a few of their belongings before they return to
Starshine Town.
July 17, 1983 – Aranelion and Elianaron return to Starshine Town. Once they make it to
Camillia’s apartment and are greeted by her, Elianaron immediately
starts to flirts with her, despite the fact that he knows Aranelion loves
her, as opposed to the simple infatuation he feels for her. She accepts
the flirting, and returns it with her own, giving Aranelion the impression
that he loves her, driving a knife into his heart. He is unaware that
this is simply part of her flirtatious manner, a cycle she’s tiring of,
and will soon leaving her looking for more stable love like Hidama
found with Delilah.
Over the next couple of weeks, Elianaron and Camillia begin dating. While this is going on, they move into their new apartment, just floors below Camillia’s apartment suite. She has it furnished completely, and bought Aranelion a baby grand piano, and Elianaron an electric blue bass guitar as early birthday presents. She also pays for their new wardrobes; the twins have dressed alike their entire lives, but feel it’s time for a change. Aranelion cuts his hair and feathers it out, dressing in a blue turtleneck shirt, denim jeans, and black and brown laced shoes with a black bucket hat. Elianaron gets a Mohawk, brushed up from his orange stripe, and opts for a red tank, black shorts with chains, and red strapped sandals for his outfit.
The twins also get their General Equivalency Diploma’s, as well as driver’s licenses. When they do this, Camillia buys them both SUVs. The twins, already overwhelmed by her kindness, both get jobs so they can start supporting themselves. Aranelion gets a job at a nightclub called Kawai’s, playing piano, where he quickly becomes a popular act, while Elianaron plays in a local band and works at a music supply store.
They fit into their new lives quickly and easily. However, Aranelion has to suffer as he watches Elianaron date the girl he has given his heart to. Though he and Camillia are clearly good friends and have much in common, from a love to music and writing songs to many of the same favorite books, as long as Elianaron has her heart on his side, Aranelion knows they’ll never get their chance. And so he settles into his life as best he can, unaware of how quickly things will change for him.
August 15, 1983 – Aranelion and Elianaron celebrate their 21st birthday.
August 25, 2983 – Aranelion and Elianaron have a petty argument in their apartment
while Aranelion tries to write a song and Elianaron tunes his bass
guitar. They’ve grown to quibble more now that they’ve settled into
their new lives, but it’s not enough to permanently damage their
strong bond. Aranelion leaves to pick up Camillia from a photo shoot,
but only after Elianaron insults him and demands he stay out of his
and Camillia’s lives.
Aranelion notices Camillia is quite happy to see him, and on the drive home the argument he had with Elianaron spills out. Camillia decides to help him get back at Elianaron, which confuses Aranelion, especially when she and his brother are supposed to be dating. However, he loves the time with her and goes along with it. When Elianaron doesn’t answer the door, unable to hear Camillia knocking, she reveals that she is fed up with him as she whimpers to herself, not knowing that Aranelion can hear her talk about how much she likes him and wishes for Elianaron to be the same.
To cheer her up, he goes along with her plan to pretend he locked his keys in the car as an excuse to sit beside the door and work on his song. When Elianaron finds them, he’s hurt, but pretends to take it harder than he actually does. He decides to let Camillia choose who she wants to be with, but makes Aranelion promise not to sway her decision. To try and help Aranelion however, Elianaron demands Aranelion come with him and Camillia to the party he’s playing at tonight before he needs to be at work, going along with the plan Camillia had and insisting that he won’t get Aranelion his keys unless he agrees to go.
Camillia is upset with Elianaron, and his behavior begins to persuade her to break it off with him. She hopes that the strong bond he has with his brother will help him regain the stability he had before he moved to Starshine Town, and shake off his party animal persona that took its place.
At the party, Camillia tells Aranelion she plans to break up with Elianaron. Later, Aranelion signs “I love you” to Camillia before leaving the party, frustrated because he feels he broke the condition Elianaron set earlier, and also worried that this other person Camillia mentioned loving might not be him. However, he agrees to meet Camillia later that night after work.
After reassurance from his boss, Mr. Phillips, Aranelion heads for home. He goes to Camillia’s apartment, and after some talk and a drink, they finally confess their love to each other. Both are overjoyed that they can finally be together, and before he goes to bed that night, Aranelion tells Elianaron how it went, and promises to help his twin find that same happiness. Elianaron is happy for them, proving that the twins’ bond is stronger than ever.
August 24, 1983 – Aranelion gets Elianaron a job playing piano at Kawai’s. The twins
play together, and Elianaron has his own solo act. Camillia also
starts to sing with Aranelion on occasion.
September 9, 1983 – Enough time has passed for Aranelion and Elianaron to settle into a
daily routine. Very happy with their new lives, they order a pizza
and talk about how well things have gone. When their pizza
arrives, the delivery guy comes inside while Aranelion goes to
get money to pay for the pizza. Noticing pictures on the wall,
he asks which one of them is dating Camillia. When Aranelion
answers that he is and asks why he wants to know, the guy
introduces himself as Auron the Greywolf. He explains his
“friend” Lairen knows Camillia because she and
her step-brother cater big fashion show events. They sit
and talk about special abilities, Auron talking about his Aura
powers and telepathy, and reveling over the telepathic bond
the twins share. Camillia arrives later with Lairen in tow,
and it’s revealed a bit that Lairen and Auron are more
than just friends. Lairen is impressed that Aranelion and
Elianaron still have their special twin powers, and
doesn’t tell them that she’s a twin as well, but
a twinless one, as her sister was stillborn. After this, they all
go to a movie together.
September 23, 1983 – Camillia celebrates her 21st birthday.
September 29, 1983 – Camillia is happier than she’s ever been. After seeing how well
Aranelion and Elianaron got along with Auron and Lairen, she
decides to introduce them to Isaac Greyfox, who prefers to be
called Ike, and works as the lead meteorologist at their local
news station. At the same time, the twins continue to plan
on bringing their mother, Aerealei, to visit them in the
coming weeks.
October 9, 1983 – Ike finds time to visit Camillia before work. They talk about a girl he
has a crush on, a yellow fox named Lucie Maple. Camillia wants to
help Isaac admit his love to her, and suggests them going on a double
date with her and Aranelion. At that point, the twins make it to her
apartment. She explains the idea to Aranelion, who quickly agrees
that it’s a great idea. However, Isaac says the only night he and
Lucie have free is exactly a week later, when Aerealei is
supposed to arrive. Elianaron promises to pick her up, and so
the date is set.
October 12, 1983 – Mikomi celebrates his first birthday.
October 16, 1983 – Aranelion and Camillia meet Isaac and Lucie at Pizza Palace, which
is next door to the movie theater. Auron is working, and Lairen is
keeping him company. Because he is getting off of work, they invite
him and Lairen to the movie, which they accept. Throughout the
movie, Aranelion and Camillia and Auron and Lairen can see Isaac
and Lucie getting more and more comfortable with each other and
getting close. When the movie is over, they all know it went better
than they could have planned. Isaac and Lucie leave, and Aranelion
and Camillia follow them after saying goodbye to Auron and Lairen.
They see Isaac and Lucie kissing outside of his car as they walk to their own vehicle, and are happy that the fox couple are finding love. In their car, as Aranelion leaves the parking lot, he says he knows Aerealei already loves Camillia, which he loves, because he wants to be with her forever. Camillia is overjoyed, because she knows this was Aranelion’s subtle way of saying he wanted to marry her.
Her joy is cut short as Auron and Lairen see four cars come together in a terrible wreck before them. Two cars on the outside are burning; the two in the center belong to Aranelion and Isaac. Aranelion’s is on its top, and Isaac’s is sitting on the passenger side. Lairen calls Elianaron and Aerealei and tells them about the wreck, then runs to help Auron and Isaac free Lucie. After putting the car on its wheels, Auron pulls the jammed door off with his aura-powered strength. Lucie, with a broken leg and other injuries, is rushed to an ambulance by Isaac.
At the same time, Camillia wakes up, only to see Aranelion out cold. She begins to despair, thinking he is dead, but finally, she sees him take a breath, and begins to cry harder for help. Their vehicle catches fire, and an explosion blows shrapnel in all directions. Shielding Lairen, Auron is hit in the back with a large slug of metal. Elianaron and Aerealei arrive. Elianaron hears Camillia’s cries and runs to rescue her. He hands her off to Lairen and Isaac as she faints. He realizes Aranelion has no active thoughts, and while this scares him, he knows he has no time to think. He carefully pulls Aranelion from the vehicle and runs for their mother, clearing the wreck just before it explodes.
At the hospital, most everyone is treated and will be able to recover. Aranelion, however, is in a coma. His air bag did not deploy, and among other injuries he also broke his hands. The doctor is optimistic that he won’t sleep for long, but can’t sure when he’ll wake up.
Over the weeks Camillia, Elianaron, and Aerealei spend next to all of their time in Aranelion’s hospital room. He is visited by almost everyone he knows, and come November even closer acquaintances come to visit.
November 12, 1983 – Hidama and Delilah come to Starshine Town to visit Aranelion and
the others.
November 15, 1983 – A few days into the visit, Camillia shouts angrily at Delilah,
frustrated at having to listen to stories of Hidama and Delilah’s
happiness while she has to watch Aranelion through his coma.
Elianaron and Hidama hear this, and Elianaron grows angry at
Camillia, believing she has given up on Aranelion. She tries to
explain herself, saying the anger is all she can do to keep from
breaking down. Aerealei then notices tears falling from
Aranelion’s eyes even though he is comatose. Believing it is
because he can feel her distress, Camillia promises to be strong
for both herself and him. The tears dissipate, and Camillia
apologizes to Delilah, before breaking down again,
Elianaron holding her tightly and promising to lend her his
own strength, as do Hidama and Delilah.
November 18, 1983 – Hidama and Delilah return to Angel Island. Camillia starts to take
new modeling jobs, and Elianaron goes back to play at Kawai’s in
an attempt to keep living their lives, even while Aranelion is not
in them. Several more weeks pass after this, and while the
visits wind down, the Starshine Town gang doesn’t
give up hope. Aerealei continues to stay with Elianaron,
and the others, do their best to help out Camillia, Elianaron,
and Mrs. Brokenstar as best as they can. Also, Elianaron
starts to have root beer floats at a bar called
Smithy’s to deal with his pain, and begins to notice a
group of thugs eyeing him suspiciously.
December 4, 1983 – On this rainy night, Camillia is off to model wedding dresses and
leaves Elianaron to watch over Aranelion. That evening, Aranelion
slowly begins to wake up, and by the time Camillia and Aerealei
arrive, he finally wakes up from his coma. He also proposes to
Camillia, saying he doesn’t want to risk waiting for that perfect
moment like he did before the accident.
December 9, 1983 – Days after Aranelion wakes up from his coma, Elianaron has his last
drink at Smithy’s bar. As he’s getting ready to leave the group of
thugs that have been watching him for the past several weeks
decide to attack him. They are led by Daniel, the hedgehog
Camillia turned down and humiliated the night that Hidama
tried to jump off of her building. The injure Elianaron, and in
fear he slashes Daniel with Tempest, before the bartender
tells him to flee. One of Daniel’s friends shoots
Elianaron on the street outside of the bar, hitting hit twice in
the back. Elianaron is rushed to the hospital. Hannah the
Squirrel, a nurse well acquainted with the Brokenstar family
due to Aranelion’s time there, takes Aerealei to see
Elianaron, and Aerealei has a good feeling that
Elianaron’s fortunes are about to change.
Later that night, Hannah, though off duty, goes to sit with Elianaron. She allays his fears that he will be going to prison for slashing Daniel by telling him what he did was self-defense. They talk, and Hannah confesses she wants to know him better. Elianaron says he feels the same way. That next morning, Aranelion gets to go home.
Over that week, Aranelion begins to move into Camillia’s apartment, and notices how close his twin has grown to Hannah in such a short time.
December 12, 1983 – Aranelion goes to visit Elianaron and asks him about Hannah.
Elianaron tells Aranelion he believes he’s found his true love.
December 16, 1983 – Elianaron leaves the hospital. Their mother Aerealei finally gets
her visit with him and Aranelion. She stays over Christmas and
New Years; Hannah spends a lot of time with Elianaron at this
time as well, and introduces him to her parents. She is their only
child. Camillia’s parents and brother Andrew also spend
time with her and her growing extended family.
January 6, 1984 – Aerealei finally leaves to return to Valordian and life goes back to
normal for the Brokenstar Twins and their friends. Aranelion and
Camillia continue to plan their wedding.
January 19, 1984 – Elianaron and Hannah are watching television together, and he tells
her he loves her. Though overcome with tears, Hannah tells him she
is overjoyed to hear him say that. She returns his love, and they
share their first kiss; at this point, they begin talking about moving
in together.
February 2, 1984 – Knuckles celebrates his twentieth birthday.
February 11, 1984 – The day of Aranelion and Camillia wedding is a week away.
Hannah has moved in with Elianaron, and he begins to wonder how
he should propose to her. Over the past weeks both twins
have been uneasy, wishing their father Armundae could allay
their fears. As Elianaron is having trouble with a song
he’s writing for Aranelion and Camillia, he is met by
the spirit of his father standing before him. After a heart to
heart talk, Elianaron feels renewed, and thanks his father for
helping him. He now knows how to propose to Hannah, and
how to finish the song. He is at comfort with himself and thus
at full comfort with marrying Hannah, confident that
there’s nothing he can do to fail Hannah or anyone,
short of giving up.
February 18, 1984 – The day of Aranelion and Camillia’s wedding. In the early morning
hours, Armundae finally appears to his elder twin son, and in the
same way he did for Elianaron, he allays Aranelion’s worries
concerning his role in his marriage to Camillia. Armundae tells him
the same thing that he did Elianaron, explaining that the only way
he could fail, would be to give up. Finding comfort, Aranelion
thanks Armundae for helping him.
Later that morning, Aranelion and Camillia are wed. Their entire circle of friends are present. Later that night at the wedding party, Elianaron proposes to Hannah, which she happily accepts, a moment made public on accident by Joel Richmond, who was playing with Bill Shaye and Zachary Williams for the wedding party. However, everyone present is overjoyed for the younger twin and his new fiancée. Aerealei retreats to the outdoors to pray to his husband, revealing that she knew that he had spoken to their boys, as he promised to when he was still alive. She knows now that her boys, though they still wander alongside their friends on the road of life, have finally arrived at the peace and happiness they so duly deserve.
It is at this point that the events of “Wandering to Love” come to an end. The epilogue of this story covers what happens in the years leading up to “For the Love of Eternity” or more appropriately, the births of all of the children that will take part in the story. Infact, the last ten years spanning from the birth of Pyro, the youngest child at this point, to the beginning of Part 6, remain largely obscure, as nothing of significant importance takes place during this period.
Going into this next chain of dates, you must remember in my version of everything gestation lasts for five months. If you don’t keep this in mind, things can get confusing in a hurry.
May 15, 1984 – Amberly, the daughter of Shadow and Rouge is born, although they do
not tell anyone about it for nearly a year, shaken to their foundations
when she is born with a crippled wing. They make a promise not to have
anymore children and dedicate the whole of their love to her. They take
up living in their cottage on the sea cliffs on the eastern coast of Embala
Bay.
June 20, 1984 – Elianaron and Hannah are wed.
October 12, 1984 – Mikomi turns two years old. About a month later, Delilah is
pregnant, and Aranelion and Camillia conceive their first child at
around the same time. They girls, best friends from youth, talk
about having children that one day will end up together.
April 7, 1985 – Hidama and Delilah welcome their daughter Kelsey Lynn into the world.
April 29, 1985 – Zachary, the son of Aranelion and Camillia is born. Delilah’s and
Camillia’s dreams have the potential to be realized with the birth of
Camillia’s son. However, the friends promise never to try and sway
their children in one direction or the other.
May 8, 1985 – Tails invites everyone to his laboratory in Aquatic Ruins. He shows them
his completed machine that will allow Sonic to travel to Blaze’s
dimension, and to travel between hers and theirs freely. Sonic leaves
with Tails, and he has a tearful reunion with Blaze. Only three days
later, Tails returns to tell everyone they have been invited to Sonic and
Blaze’s wedding.
May 12, 1985 – Everyone, including Shadow, Rouge, and an almost one-year-old
Amberly travel to Blaze’s dimension for her marriage to Sonic. It is one
of the first times everyone gets to see little Amberly.
In the month of September, Elianaron and Hannah conceive their first child.
September 23, 1985 – Amy Rose turns nineteen.
October 12, 1985 – Mikomi turns three.
When Sonic comes to visit for Christmas in December, he tells them that he and Blaze are expecting their first child as well.
February 2, 1986 – Knuckles turns twenty-two.
February 5, 1986 – Jeremy, the son of Elianaron and Hannah is born.
A few weeks after Jeremy’s birth, Hannah is diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. This begins a punishing three years that will change Elianaron forever.
April 9, 1986 – Aries, the daughter of Sonic and Blaze is born.
Over this next year, Auron and Lairen move away to Casinopolis, are married, and have a son named Alex. The Brokenstar Twins also begin to lose track of Hidama, Knuckles, and their families, as well as the rest of the circle of friends, save Isaac and Lucie. They only come together to thwart an occasional attack from Eggman.
October 12, 1986 – Mikomi turns four.
April 9, 1987 – Aries turns one. Shortly after this Amy lets everyone outside of Angel
Island know that she is pregnant. A few weeks later, Olivia writs a letter
to Hidama, telling him she and her husband are expecting their first child.
Olivia is sixteen at this point; she and Jacob rule together as siblings,
and also at this time Jacob is seventeen and already the father to one son.
September 1, 1987 – Knuckles and Amy welcome their daughter Amarie into the world.
September 23, 1987 – Amy celebrates her twenty-first birthday.
October 12, 1987 – Mikomi celebrates his fifth birthday.
November 22, 1987 – Olivia writes another letter to Hidama, telling him of the birth of
her baby daughter, Katerina.
February 5, 1988 – Jeremy celebrates his second birthday. In the spring, Eggman
launches an assault on the group of heroes, feeling comfortable
without Sonic around. However, the blue hedgehog returns to help
defeat Eggman. Once the battle is over, Sonic asks Shadow to help
him gather the chaos emeralds so he can take them to Blaze’s
dimension. Shadow agrees, but only if Sonic consents to letting him
keep the red and green chaos emeralds, to which Sonic
accepts. Once they are gathered up, Sonic returns with the remaining
five to Blaze’s dimension.
August 1988 – Isaac and Lucie, who are engaged, move to Metropolis City.
September 1, 1988 – Amarie turns one.
October 12, 1988 – Mikomi turns six
November 22, 1988 – Katerina turns one.
December 1988 – Hannah checks into the hospital for the last time and is there over
Christmas.
February 2, 1989 – Knuckles turns twenty-five.
February 5, 1989 – Jeremy turns three. A couple of weeks after his birthday, Hannah
finally dies from her cancer. Elianaron slips into a deep state of
depression. After several weeks, Aranelion finally snaps him out of it
and the healing process begins, although Elianaron will never fully
recover.
April 1989 – Kelsey and Zachary celebrate their fourth birthdays this month. Aries also
celebrates her third birthday this month.
May 15, 1989 – Amberly turns five.
September 1989 – Amarie turns two and Amy turns twenty-three. Also during this
month, Tails proposes to Cream, and their wedding is set for
December.
October 12, 1989 – Mikomi celebrates his seventh birthday. Outside of weddings and
births, the friends don’t see much of each other, becoming
increasingly isolated.
December 12, 1989 – Tails and Cream are married. At this time, they are at the same
ages as Knuckles and Amy were when they married, seventeen
and fifteen, Tails and Cream respectively. About a month later,
they announce they are expecting their first child.
February 5, 1990 – Jeremy Brokenstar turns four. Around this time, Sonic returns to tell
everyone he and Blaze are expecting their second child.
June 2, 1990 – Oliver, the son of Tails and Cream is born. This is after they both have a
birthday, making them eighteen and sixteen.
July 10, 1990 – Pyro, the son of Sonic and Blaze is born.
While Aranelion and Camillia say they plan to have at least one more child, Pyro is the last child to be born at this point. The friends become increasingly isolated. Over these next few years, Tails to continue to work on perfecting inter-dimensional travel, Sonic comes to visit less and less, and Shadow, Rouge, and Amberly hardly ever show their faces. Zachary and Jeremy begin going to school, and Knuckles and Hidama decide to keep their children from leaving Angel Island, a decision that Elianaron feels will cause Mikomi, Kelsey, and Amarie to rebel against them as they grow up, which ends up coming true, setting the stage for “For the Love of Eternity.” Katerina does not return to anyone’s attention until Part 7, and Oliver, who is homeschooled, and Zachary and Jeremy, also don’t begin to influence the lives of their peers until after Part 6 concludes.
The children grow up, and a decade goes by. This is long enough for a new malicious force to rise. It is the same group Eggman got his start with, but is even more cruel than he, so much that they kicked him out of their ranks. This new force is called Team Maniacal, and they are led by a man known as Herman Burns, better known as Sir Burns. Elianaron’s premonition of seeds of rebellion in Mikomi, Kelsey, and Amarie’s hearts comes true, and so Part 6 begins. The next part of the timeline will cover the events of this story, as well as the years between the end of it and the beginning of Part 7.

I'm only commenting here because you have so many stories up so quickly, and their all so good!
The storyline seems really complex but it also flows at the same time, something I'm very impressed by. Most writers, even the goods ones, usually try to keep their stories shorter, but you dared to branch out, and I salute that!
