I love my baby Ell. I love him and Aranelion like children, and for perhaps the same reasons Aerealei is close to her youngest son, I'm close to him. She knew he would struggle in life, perhaps more than Aranelion, and up to this point, that's proved to be true.

I couldn't bear to take Hannah from him in WoLaD, but...I've dreamt of him so many times after losing her in the TSoTL series. I swear, he cried so hard I'd wake up because of it. And then little Jeremy would crawl to him, just wondering why his father was weeping so.

Elianaron, as strong as he is, has perhaps the most to mourn than any of my characters...save Hidama alone.

He loses his father, brethren, and suffers ridicule, just like his twin. But after fighting back, and moving ahead with life positively, he finds his true love, only to lose her after a three year long battle for her life, with a young son to raise alone.

Aranelion doesn't change as much in his life as Elianaron does. Elianaron bounces back a little but his scars never heal. He'll never be the same proud heart he was in his youth. He was just crushed by too much.

But he's still strong. Those tears don't mean he's ready to quit. They simply mourn what can never be recovered...what can never be forgotten.

"Before everything ends, even the strong will weep; forever broken, by what they could not control. Yet it is the strongest of these, that continue to forge on, even when the tears make it nearly impossible to move forward."

That's the kind of soul Elianaron is. My poor baby <3

I think I'm finally getting the hang of drawing him. To be honest he's actually easier to draw than Aranelion...I love that black hat but it can be a pain to draw. A Mohawk is much easier

Anyway, I struggled a bit with this, especially his eyes. I couldn't figure out how I wanted the lid line to look, then I messed up on the eyebrows...and I don't know if the placement of his nose and mouth is correct for the way he is facing. I had no good refs. But, I still don't want crits on this. I've been feeling kinda down; this is an expression of that.

Plus it's my baby Ell <3

And yeah, I know the shade of grey on his shirt and red bands is too dark X3 Also, that quote up there is just something I made up. I could see Armundae or Kashoku saying it.

Edit: I worked on it more today and shaded it, cleaned it up a little, scanned it larger, and basically made it look better =3
