I think I'm getting back into drawing again!

Anyway, this is a special picture <3

lol although Gem and I haven't gotten this far in our RPs...YET. Any time Othaious and Autumn have had together have them involved in some conflict so I don't know if they've had time for a moment alone XP

But he'll show up eventually.

He? Why little Matikai of course! Othadious and Autumn's son!

Wonder why I added, "UnDaunted" to the title?

Well, even though both grandfather's, UnDark AND UnLight love him, they can't bring themselves to get over hating each other, and because of how he looks, each sees the brother they hate in the tiny baby, and so they can't bring themselves to get close to him.

This slowly begins to alienate both Othadious and Autumn from their families, which upsets them, for they don't know what to do. Arandor wonders if maybe UnLight and UnDark had a common goal to work towards if it could help them work through their anger...

Anyway, I shrunk this down too small I think. I may re-edit it tomorrow so it can be larger, but I wanted to get it up tonight ^^

But yeah...HE DOES NOT HAVE A BLACK EYE! What you see is the Spade mark! Umm yeah, Gem knows about it.

Had fun creating little Matikai. I wanted to literally blend UnLight and UnDark, and short of his lynx ear tips, and the particular ruffle of his bangs, that's pretty much what he is. The locks on both sides of his head are striped like UnDark's are; his bangs are inspired by UnDark's face mask. He got UnLight's curled locks, and is brown over all, with blue/gray fur and stripes. If you look closely, you'll see his eyes are swirled. Green and orange. Not just Othadious' and Autumn's eye colors, but also UnDark and UnLight's eye colors. If you ever draw Matikai, make sure his eyes have the orange/green swirl. That's his trademark ^^

Oh, and his eye lids that aren't covered by the spade obviously are normal brown. When the spade eye is open you can only see the tip above it and the tail below it on his face.

But isn't he adorable? <3 I drew Othadious and Autumn holding him, but you can't quite see what they're doing. Is Othadious giving her a kiss while keeping a secure hand on Matikai?

Poor Matikai. Though both grandfather's love him he'll go through a lot just to get them to show it openly. Both UnDark and UnLight are too stubborn to throw away their hatred for each other. Will they ever? Even so, young Matikai is UnDaunted.

Anyway, besides having shrunk the picture too much, Othadious' hand, though beautiful, is still smaller than it should be. Not looking forward to re-editing this picture for a larger version, but, I didn't do as much editing as I could anyway.
