"As I sit I see him there,
Walking free, without a care.
Yet I don't speak as he walks by,
And instead I start to cry.

He cannot see what's in my heart,
What bonds it as it falls apart.
Even though my love is true,
I just don't know what I can do.

I've given him my heart and dreams,
But these wishes are all it seems,
That I can do to make this real,
In an attempt to show him how I feel.

How do you tell the one you love,
That he is all you're thinking of.
Can all I do is sit and cry,
As he walks along, and wonders why?

Auron why...why do I cry?"

Auron:
"It's just a stroll I take today,
Wondering why she went away.
This isn't the first time she's had to leave,
Wringing her hands, tugging at her sleeve.

Now...I see her sitting here,
Her green eyes glassy with her tears.
Please somebody tell me why,
Being with me makes her cry.

Why's it so hard for me to see,
What causes her to run from me.
After choking on no words to say,
She says she's sorry, then runs away.

Could I have hurt her by mistake,
And caused her heart to bleed and ache?
Or is it love I see in her eyes,
Someone please, tell me why...

Inspiration struck at midnight last night, and I started sketching this picture. The little "poem" they orate above this is just something I wrote to...well, narrate it.

Another possibility I've seen as far as Aaron and I go, is it coming down to me running away from him in tears when I get choked up on fears and don't know what to say. In this scenario, Auron makes it sound like it's happened before, but in my mind it would only take once for me before something happens.

See, Auron and Lairen are both psychics...of different kinds of course, but that means they can read the minds and feelings of others. However, as skilled as they are, they've learned to close off their minds and hearts to being read by other psychics. Auron can't look at Lairen and know how she feels, and Lairen can't do the same for Auron. Both of them are so confused they approach it like any of us would. They step back in disbelief, wondering what's wrong, and why things can't be different.

This is how it could end up. On more than one occasion a waking thought of how Aaron and I could end up has led to this. It wouldn't be the first time I've broken into tears and run away to hide...only, it wasn't with Aaron.

Several years ago I had a breakdown at Joe's house. It was shortly after Uncle Gary died and another girl there, a friend of ours, and I got into a disagreement about the consequences of suicide. Anyway, I ended up running away from them and hid in a bush when Joe came to find me. After he comforted me he told me we were true friends. That night has always stuck with me.

Now, we didn't end up together romantically or anything. I was simply using that as an example. I could see Aaron and I talking or doing something, and for whatever reason emotions run high, and I just run away again.

That's basically what inspired the picture.

No complaints about this picture...for the most part. The bench Lairen is sitting on is just...ugh, ignore it. I should have let her levitate since that's one of her abilities, but then again maybe she couldn't focus enough to do it crying her eyes out over Auron. Auron's left hand isn't facing the direction I want it but I'm still learning angles and such.

I love the picture. I love the moment. It's the closest I can come to making my feelings tangible so all the world can see how they tear my heart apart and at the same time keep it mended.

No snide remarks. I'm making progress...the last thing I need is discouragement...

And fullview please obviously. I can't stand the preview size.
