I'll be honest I'm tired of seeing them too but everything is made for them and I suck at editing bones, physics, etc. so I use them anyway. If I had a choice to use a more mature base that is as advanced as tda but not as animeish I would

I try to learn but since pmx editor is a Japanese program not everything works
And there is more variety for tda
Right now I just typed "mmd parts dl" into to search bar on da and it's either TDA, 3dcg or something like 3dcg and every once in a while lat. however everyone uses tda and since everyone uses it all see is len and miku edited to look like a different character and they still look the same. Heavily edited textures and bodies make it a little better but it gets to a point where you have seen it so much you're tired of it.
I used to like watching mmd videos with tda and now its at a point where I'm like "If I see this face again I'm throwing my phone out the window"

It does get pretty annoying because everyone makes edgy oc's with their demon forms and such. You don't see very much unique. Like me, I'm learning to edit models (slowly) so I can changed up mine in the future. I'm still new to model making anyways but I've been here for quite some time.

Almost everyone is complaining about this MMD model with obvious eating disorder.
Now, I do agree this model is possibly innapropriate, and I definetly wouldn't want to see it on self models, but maybe Revik made it for something else??
EXAMPLE, a short film on a person healing from their own eating disorder?
I do see many people also saying how nobody complains for the obese ones, I haven't seen an obese MMD models anywhere,

I'm not going to hate this because is portrays a eating disorder, I hate this because the portrayal is over exaggerated on a already over exaggerated female base (TDA proportions are already unrealistic). It's worse because this looks really uncanny because it's a straight pmde model. It's almost cartoony, and tbh it's really tasteless. Plus I don't think we need bases that portray life-threatening conditions. It's not cute, and slapping it on a anime character really anit fucking cute. If you want to tell a story about someone struggling with anorexia that makes sense, but knowing the general age base of this community, this base is getting used in a disturbing and tasteless way. Plus if a person is anorexic....there face wouldn't be full like that. It's like you're portraying this as if it's cute.
It will kill you, and you need to get help if you have this disorder, same if you're overweight. I refuse to sit back and accept people who are basically killing themselves. It's not okay, it's not healthy. The human body is not made to look that way. Yeah you should love yourself. Love yourself enough to get help if you think it's okay to fucking walk around looking like your 90 pounds and or 500 pounds. I'm not trying to bash you, this is just criticism. I completely agree with you.. Sometimes I wouldn't be surprised if girls tried starving themselves or exaggerated on trying to get skinny because some Anime shows had put them down because most of the characters are unrealistically skinny.. (I'm talking super thin waist with big bust and hips) ..
I was so confused coming across this model, I didn't think people would actually do this.. Yeah, it is just a base, but eating disorders and anorexia aren't rare, and very common especially in younger females.. I dl'ed this model because I was animating a Tokyo Ghoul short story and I was using it as a Dead character..
