Sorry this might be a bit late going up, but I couldn't just let an event like this go by and not contribute anything. (Just been busy with work...)

Now, I KNOW I'm not the first person to say something along these lines, but I'm gonna say it anyway: Sans making someone else dress up as him to take his place in Smash is like the most Sans thing he could do. I know there's some disappointment that he wasn't revealed as his own unique fighter, but in a weird way, this actually seems more in-character. I mean, in Undertale, it takes wiping out the entire monster race to actually motivate Sans to fight you. I can't imagine why he'd just go and fight a bunch of guys in Smash for no reason other than he was asked. That takes a lot of energy. And he doesn't seem like someone who really cares about being in the spotlight, either. It just makes sense to me that he'd find someone else to do it for him.

(Also, I'm not trying to suggest that Frisk is the ideal Smash candidate, I just thought this might be cute. )
