This is my half of the trade with Minimaid
It's her character that she gave me a description of to work with. He's supposta be a sunbeam naga and from what I read about them that under dull light its color appears dark brown to black, but under strong sunlight it displays an attractive iridescence of red, blue, green and yellow...so I attempted it, but for some reason he ended up a sort of blueish tint. He did start out black though. The yellow is there in the shading when I dodged on highlights set to 16%.

I'm sorry, he doesn't look very sunbeamish to me....more moonbeamish. I knew it was going to be a test of my shading and coloring skills on his scales because I'm not easy with layering colors on one object...like his scales. The way I color with layers is weird and when I try to paint one object with several layers for it, the color only darkens and gets ugly.

Once again I'm sorry. I believe I failed in this attempt.

His hair was alot darker when I started out, but my shading killed it. None the less I attempt to give him deep set eyes, hence the dark shading under them...x.X
