Description Cleansing the Church through God's Rage, wiping away the sin through the test of the elements, in times of moral reconstruction.
It's a manipulation that has been in my head for a long time now, perhaps I will come up with a series.

The piece is inspiring and I love it. I feel the same way about the church. Go gettem God. Very nicely done. Amazing manipulation.

thank you very much, and we could probably continue this conversation of god, priests, and the churches failure on so many levels...

looks great .... i like the whole "god holds a grudge" feel to it. Also have to say ..... you dont have to specifically link to the picture on sxc.hu .... So dont waste ya time ... Ive never run across anyone who put the actual link anyway ..... Great picture tho. Nicely done bro

LawrenceDeDark In reply to lockjavv [2008-04-10 05:45:44 +0000 UTC]

Actually it is a good practice to link or reference the id number of stock that you use from SXC. This way you are protected if someone claims you used copyrighted material.

good idea as well,i always tend to stay with unrestricted stock, again thanks for feed back though. how have you been, i haven't spoken with you in a very long time? Then again i have been scarce till recently.

true, in fact i am searching for a older favorite stock that i love to use, forgot to link it in my older works.

lockjavv In reply to LawrenceDeDark [2008-04-10 07:32:36 +0000 UTC]

you are absolutely right .... I do not disagree at all. It is better to be safe than sorry. Just simply stating no one on DA does it. not a single deviation i have run across in the last 3 years has had a direct link to a picture on sxc. But you are right .... id hate to be in that situation and not have my URL's handy.

sometimes i dont know when to keep my to myself lol

LawrenceDeDark In reply to lockjavv [2008-04-10 07:55:03 +0000 UTC]

There is nothing wrong with your two coins.

I know a lot of people have not credited these stocks in detail in the past, but there have been a few news articles posted about crediting and I think you'll start to see more people doing it. I know everything I've used from SXC is linked, but being a stock Gallery Director I better keep my nose clean.

It really is more about protecting your work.. when you do a direct link, no one can come along and claim you ripped them off or something.

Anyway, I didn't mean to go way off topic here in this deviation.

revrendwilliam In reply to LawrenceDeDark [2008-04-10 13:45:38 +0000 UTC]

i have seen a ton of deviations with no links at all to familiar DA stock

I'll note you as not to add even more off topic comment here.

lockjavv In reply to LawrenceDeDark [2008-04-10 08:13:23 +0000 UTC]

you are right. I do see alot of images that are linked to sxc and are not even on there ..... most likely are copyrighted images ..... So ill be sure to take this to heart and link every pic i use although i dont do manips anymore lol.

So i have a question for ya being that you are the stock gallery director .... I have a stock account made of psd's from sxc. Am i allowed to do that? Just asking before i get banned or something lol.

Wow such great effects! The fire and water through the windows look super and I like how the water appears to be forming a huge wave behind the church.
There's just one very small spot on the right side above the water line that needs to be cloned over but I agree one of your best!
