Chapter 7 - Epilogue

  The troll you and Hrista slew had been fleeing toward some ancient Viking burial mounds. Apparently the trolls had been using the old tombs as both home and locker, for trapped inside them you found the missing townsfolk, most of whom were still alive and well. The families rescued that day would pass down in history and song the bravery of those who rescued them that day.

  The Journey home was long and sombre. As the longboat entered the cove of your home village, the excitement built, and family members lined the docks, making some reunions joyful while others were filled with tears when they realized not all had returned.

  Harald greeted Hrista and could see in her face the weight of the trials she had just endured, as she sunk into his arms. "Life is rarely easy my daughter, but I'm glad to see you have returned, hopefully wiser and stronger.   Perhaps one day, you, or one of your children will lead this village.   But for now, rest well, you can tell me all about your journey on the 'morrow."
